plz help me understand how wf/wf is better than wf/rb. i understand the wf scales, but with the hiddent timer on proc and the fact that the offhand wf can and does often steal procs from my main hand weapon, i think wf/rb is a better choice i have almost 1500 ap before any buffs and talents kick in. when i see wf proc on a off hand crit for less than have the damage of a main hand crit/proc combo it kills me and my potential dps. need someone to break it down nice and slow for me.

The basic concept is that WF only has a 20% chance of proc. If you miss the proc on your main hand, you are still better off having it proc on your off hand than not at all. Even with rockbiter or anything else, because its 3 extra attacks with increased AP. Off hand has 50% of the displayed damage, so if it procs then you are getting 150%+ damage from that hit opposed to the normal swing. Also when WF procs each hit has a chance of crit strike, and you want to maximize the number of crit strikes to get Flurry, Shamanistic Focus and Unleashed rage to pop up. As an enhancement shammy, you are very very dependant on critical strikes to trigger your other skills.
i am trying to gather as much info as a can on the subject because i am really starting to enjoy the shamna enhance class more and more. i know i am a target in arena but in pvp i have become really effective. Ruber what you said makes more since than anything i have read to date to make me understand why wf is better, so thanks for the info.
You asked for a realy simple explanation on the topic. If you are gathering more info, this site basically has every single bit of information you will ever need on an enhancement shammy. This was done by people with way way way too much time on their hands, but if they went through this much effort, I have a hard time believeing they are wrong.
