I recently tamed a Frostsaber, level 60, that dose dissipear, in Winterspring.  Ive been working with it for awhile now, and when I went to "train" it, it says he has no talent points. So I checked on the Pet Details, and it states there he has neg 50?  How dose one get that built up to a poss., and can you? Any suggestions? Ive talked to other players and all have said they never heard of this happening...

When your at rank 1 loyalty with your pet it has a available 0 talent points. Your pet has skills already witch have taken away from the points that it will get when it levels up. It is hard to explain, hope someone else can assist more then i have.

You got it right, if you train a pet that already has some special abilities (prowl, dash, etc), it will have negative points at loyalty level 1.  As it gains loyalty, it will gain points, don't worry, you may have to get it to loyalty 2 or 3 before you can train it more.

i think it happens when your last pet runs away and its a penaelty for new animal as if it is an upgrade its points are more to train , i had the same happen to me and wasted time training it but it was my fault for neglecting it a little , was peed of cause there was no food to be had on the quest i was on and i was out of my depth and my pet went because it starved...lol
