My main is a paladin and to get his epic charger - lots of quests and lots of money - in general a royal pain. I heard you just buy the epic mount for the priest - if so, where and does anyone know how much? I'm level 64 Shadow Priest - Thanks ahead of time , Tim

Yes, only Warlocks and Paladins have the epic mount quests, everyone else just pays for the training and buys a mount. If you're a human, you can do it at the stables in Elwynn Forest, the stables by South Shore. If you're another alliance, you can still train there, but because you need exalted to use another race's mount, you'll need to find the stables for your race. The training is 600g and the mount is 100g, but they are reduced by faction reputation.
If you're Horde, same deal, except I don't know where you can go to get trained. Just go to wowwiki and read about it, you can find out where to buy the appropriate mounts in the article linked below: http://www.wowwiki.com/Epic_mount
I still like to think of my priest's mount as a "class mount" even though I had to pay for it. Shadow form can give any plain-old mount a whole new look.
