i`m lvl 59 at my mining skill :( it`s pretty lame for my 60 hunter but i didn`t really care about professions till now. Please if any1 knows, i really need to know where i should go to get my mining skill up faster what areas. For the begining i only need the area for my lvl 59 mining but if any1 knows more can you guys let me know like this:
from 70-100 ->area
from 100-130 ->area
from 130-160 ->area
from 160-200 ->area
from 200.... and so on. Thanx a lot
I am lvl 60 ane have neglected mining too. You can do pretty well in deadmines for copper and some tin. Then southshore (yheti cave) has more copper, tin, even iron and mithril.
When you get to 225 or so go to badlands and make the complete circle of the place over and over for mithril and iron. Then go burning steppes or ungoro crater for thorium. I still learning these spots but its working. Good luck.

at 59, you can only mine copper, when you get skill level to 65, start tin, 75 start silver where you can find it, it's rare. Mine tin till you get to 125, then focus on iron. continue with iron, till you get to 175, that's when you can start mining mithral. You can also start mining gold at 155, but that too is rare. Mine mithral till you get to 230, that is when you can start mining dark iron (only found around BRD) and truesilver. Truesilver seems to be rare also. continue with Mithral, dark iron, and true silver until you get to 250, this is where you can start SMALL thorium viens, and continue with those till 275, where you can then mine RICH thorium veins.
im level 47 mage with 230 mining and basically if your level 50+ than you can afford to invest a little money into buying ore, smelting and selling for a little reduced price until you can get the big bucks with truesilver+
