Ok. So I was aflic until 40 but do to its lack of dps in instances I went destruction and i like it alot, but I am wondering if it will be worth it to go Demo at this point becouse I get the felgaurd. If i do respec I plan on going destruction again, but I am wondering if it is worth it to respec at this point?

Not till minimum lvl 50. ( and all your points will be in demo @ that point so you lose everything else )

I was aff. prior to that.. and yea.. I miss my instant DOT and range.. but meh.

FG IMO ( never thought to look up the spec ) appears to have slighty lesser armor then VW, but it does hella of a lot more damage then VW.. so it offsets it by being able to kill faster.  However, it doesn't have the option to heal itself with that shadow absorb thing that VW does.  FG uses Mana up pretty quickly though ( or maybe its cause I don't really do much cooldown )

Only time I sit down to drink is in instance.

I am a demo. lock and having the felguard is awesome!!! He is my tank and I slap some dots on the guy then heal my pet we kick ass. Try it out for urself..

demo does kick ass fel at lvl 51 in a group with some buffs can esaly d over 100dps so far usaly in instances i jsut sit there maby wand or throw curse on...also the +10% dmg with it out spell dmg/resist and 20% less dmg...the only thing is u have to heal the bitch all the time even normel grinding its low heal is a problem tho it has nice armor...if we get heal over tiem like hunters ther be no problem

hell theren o other way for me i love FG@!!!i was tanking isntances with him with a healer...soloing u can take 5 thingsa time jsut thow curse on them eatch(make shore u do at least 1 point of dmg to them i usaly trow curse of weakness and us healfire rank 1 for a tick or 2) i keep off its taunt it doesnt need it it does so mutch dmg if i poll argo i ahve it taunt it once or twice...

just do it and never look back XD

I find Demo too easy to play, but it's so good for doing quests that it's probably your best bet (Affliction = no soloing 2+ man quests)
