Between prot and holy which is faster to lvl with?

Ret is faster then both.  Prot is faster the holy. (reckoning ftw).

The best thing to do is to as in trade chat, or in your guild.  If nothing else, talk to a lv 70 palli on your server.

The best thing you can do if you have a question is type it into google.  This goes for all questions, even real life ones.

OP - fast lvling and prot/holy does not go together. I think u got this mixed up when u first rolled a pally. As Piru already stated, if u want "fast leveling" u need to forget prot and holy n go ret. And if u do go ret, go ret correctly. Look thru these other threads and find a post that has a build for ret... from there follow the build n get the right gear. Once u reach a higher lvl, u can then respec back to prot/holy and decide what u wanna be at 70 and "endgame".

actually, if you wanna level quick, i would suggest that you go ret from level 10. yes, the leveling is still not that good yet.

but when you get to level 35, i would suggest you respec to prot so that you can get blessing of sanctuary and reckoning... others prefer to respec at 40 so that they get the blessing of sanctuary, reckoning, and holy shield. please do not go prot at 30 wherein you get the blessing of sanc but don't have enough talents for reckoning. it's going to be a pain, trust me.

with a prot pally with blessing of sanctuary, reckoning, and holy shield, you could actually go against 5 mobs of your level at the same time! ever get frustrated gathering things for quests? every get tired of slay quests? well, not anymore! what's the trick?

run and pull as many as you can.. then, use ret aura, blessing of sanctuary, holy shield, and reckoning. then, judge seal of light and seal it again. that way, you're gaining life while fighting and they are taking damage while hitting you. you'll have very high dps because of their attacks against you... the damage you'll be dealing will mostly be return damage..

the down side to this is you'll have a bit of trouble killing casters... trick to fighting them is spamming consecrate and judging seal of righteousness.

oh yeah, as prot pally, don't go pvp against casters. they will mop the floor with your shield. really. but against melees like wars or rogues, you'll have tons of fun! hehehehehe

that's my opinion anyway and it worked for me.

by the way... the reason why i suggested this is because people have commented saying stuff like "whoa! how did you get to level 5 levels in a few hours???!" and stuff like that.

plus, if people notice how fast you level and the amount of mobs you solo, you get invited to dungeons as a tank! the healer will not have much of a problem with you because you're used to fighting a lot of mobs at the same time. you just have to make sure you keep aggro up by righteous fury, and cast the threat decreasing blessing on everyone else!

if they want healers, tell them to look for resto droods, as resto droods are amazing healers, i mean just awesome at healing!

but if they insist, you could store up some gear with int just in case. but to be honest, i leveled up sooo much faster by questing and NOT by dungeons. the dungeons only give you nice gear. but the leveling is not as fast. why get nice gear from instances at levels 1-50 when all your gear gets replaced by the gear you get from outlands anyway? right? so just focus on questing... the only dungeon i suggest you do is Maraudon's "corruption of earth and seed" to get the thrash blade. the thrash blade gives you a chance to deal an extra swing... which works like a DOUBLE RECKONING.

i would stay prot till probably when you get tired of it because the downside to tanking that much is it gets boring after awhile. hehehehe....
