I just got a +7 wep damage enchant and in my character sheet, the base damage amount appears in red. Is this normal? i thought if there was a stat in red it indicates a decrease......like when i put on that shriveled heart thing!

look at all of the things you have ojn your toon and is there a curse on you?

If not, then you're bugged, go to WoW folder and delete Cache.

nope. no curses or debuffs..when i mouse over the damage field in melee stats, the pop up has "damage  250-309 x90%" and the 90% is in red. Thought i might need repairs but that didnt help. also no items that have negative stats...any other ideas?

guess it wasnt the enchant...thats just when it started. the damage is always red no matter what i have equipped (or if i have no wep equipped at all). I tried deleting that cache folder (while I just renamed it) and that didnt help..i submitted a help ticket...it sure would appear to be a curse but there's no indication of one....

x90% right?  I'm guessing you are a warrior and were in defensive stance!?!

lol X90% means ur in defensive stance for a warrior
