ps: for the epic ground mount, and the normal flyer, the quests to 70 will give you enough money if you don't waste it, so you do not need to farm for it.

Also, farming motes is good, and you can buy them from the Darkmoon Faire for almost nothing.

you should spend all your money n those pointless things in the auction house, like those moonberry juices that idiot people sell for 5000g.  you could also give your money to lowbies.

How I made money is by buying plns for the tuxedo because barely anyone (on my server) knows where to buy them. I sold each plan for 5g (all for 15g) and began to make G fast. I now am reaching the 300g (and im only lvl 30!!!)

i'm having troubles creating the damn money trees in hillsbrad fields, can i try to grow them with some gold coins of you, i think the ground is getting sick of this copper.

I have the exact opposite problem.

Whenever i have money, i see something nice and buy it. I'm so damn impulsive!!! same in real life. I bought a WoW Calendar and never use it. I bought a WoW bestiary thing and never use it.

but in game the max gold i ever had was 500 and then i respecced feral so i cud tank in instances then i realised i cudnt tank so i respecced resto so i cud heal, respecced balance the day after, then respecced feral so i cud try and tank in instances again, realised i cudnt so i respecced resto, became a damned good healer but i got bored of it and now im balance again and i WILL stay balance despite the rude comments.

Oh and i don't really like asking for people to help with group quests lol

one way to stop making money is to log in, and run around the game aimlessly. You had fun AND you didnt make any money!

I have defended balanced talent speccing. I remember the rant. It can be a good choice while leveling. This game is huge! Sometimes, when one has figured out an aspect of it, they will infer greater understanding than they actually possess. The many nuances of the game allow viable builds that will augment different styles of play.

Balancing can be a very effective way to play. Don't bother about rudeness, it's a weakness we all possess. It may indicate a weakness in their views. If you gave them no cause, there should be no concern. Just worry about your own actions.

But if you're going to be doing something (like farming) then why not just spec for it?

After all it makes you do it faster.

EDIT: I wish WoW had a bank where you could loan money for like a month or something.

So lowbies could buy their mount more easily. Not saying, of course, that it's impossible, but it'd be rather convenient for new players.

But that's just wishful thinking.

I remember how hard that first gold was to come by.  When I finally got to 100g I said I will never drop below that amount. My problem is I say that everytime I get to the next plateau 200g 300g...  Now I have over 1000g (all hard earned)
I'm a lvl 50 warrior and lvl 270 blksmth so my gear is all from either drops or self made. If I need something like breath of wind (which is too high a price for me at AH) I'll grind until I get it.

You know, I had this same problem in Diablo 2 - there's just nothing to buy after you beat the game on normal. However, *it meant the freedom to playing without having to return to base to sell equipment of value all the time. At first it took some getting used to, as I was so habituated to picking things up etc., actually forcing myself just to leave things on the ground took some work.

The one difference in that game, however, is that it wasn't public (at least while I play on my home computer). The public aspect of ,this game invites a lot of possibilities for help and ways to distribute your money etc. I had a friend start me off with 10 gp, and it *really* helped - so nice to have a spare slot bag, for example!

Another friend soon afterward gave me 150... the big highlight was getting a set of nice bags, really. Just like Diablo's Horadric cube - so helpful, and soon the game was fun (there's a stress when one has no money for several needed things, isn't there?)

It must be mentioned following though not spending takes discipline, and my desire to get the edge in the PvPs had me spend away the money I had hard saved for my mount on some pretty equipment... ha ha ha - at least I stopped getting so oWned)

Another game that I really enjoyed addressed this very situation by having just a handful of things involving individual players buying a castle... and then things that one could buy for the castle... ha ha - imagine the cost of a castle compared to a mount in real life... so imagine the possibilities WoW could implement just for people like you! ;)

you could always donate some of it to your guild bank. your guild master will thank you and give you multiple promotions. unless you are the guild master. in that case, i just made a total fool of myself.
