Hey guys... I have a high level warrior & have just recently respec'd to Fury. Im going to be DW'ing & was unsure about one thing.

When DW'ing should my off hand wepon be slower than my main hand or does it not matter?

I got a nice main hand fist wepon with a swing speed of 1.40. There is also another fist wepon id like to get hold of but its for the off hand only & its swing speed is 1.80, so solwer than the main hand... is that going to be a problem when DW'ing them together? I cant seem to find any wepons to put in my off hand thats faster than this fist wepon for my main hand.

So does it matter if my off hand wepon swing speed is slower than my main hand... Or are Fury Warriors similar to Rogues & should look for a slow, hard hitting wepon for the main hand & a faster swing speed wepon to use in the off hand???

If you have around 100hit(this is with a 17/44/00spec btw) then 2 slow weapons are the best, I myself use 2x 2.6 speed, the slower the better.

This isn't entirely true 2x slow weapons can give you a problem as well for example if you need to use an attack asap a faster weapon with a high hit rating will gain more rage than a slow weapon. but i do use both 2x slow weapons but also have a fast weapon for sticky situation so it really depends on how you play....

"not saying two slow weapons are bad just saying it depends on the players preference"

Good point yea, if it wasnt for the fact that I can barely reach 50rage and even if I use heroic strike almost every MH strike(wich I wanne avoid, treatcap FTW) I stil have to much rage most of the time. And a slow/slow or Slow/ast give equal rage only with low hitrating it isnt as bad if you mis a fiew times cause you hit faster, if you mis 4x with Slow/Slow you'll feel it.

This is important:

ALWAYS. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS have a slow main hander when DWing. No matter what class, race, spec, or WHATEVER you are, ALWAYS have a slow main hand while DWing. The reason for this is that one of your main dmging attacks (Heroic Strike) Deals ALOT more DPR (damage per rage) on slow weapons. Not only that, but you get to see very pretty numbers when you hit.

There are other reasons too, but I'm too tired to think of them right now.

Point remains, best speed for Main hands (assuming equal dps) is 2.70-2.90, and best speed for offhands is 2.0-2.4 (For a good balance between whirlwind craziness and rage management)

Also, a tip for you:

Sweeping Strikes+Cleave=double damaging cleave

Sweeping Strikes+Whirlwind= 0.o... wow... pretty numbers...

(point of story, if facing more than one enemy, use sweeping strikes. It's possible to get 3000+ dps (more than warlock with Seed of Corruption) well geared, at, 70 vs 3 enemies)
