Are there some decent mail peices availble through quests for level 40 SHammies? I'm debating on whether I should spend days running around in SM for Scarlet Chains or is there are better options out there for me that may be easier to obtain.

Try not to worry to much about your gear...
Good armor will fade while levelling anyway. Just focus on how to level faster & faster.

Worry about gear @ 70 ^^

I have to agree, my first char spent hours and hours in SM getting the entire set - and while it was nice, I dont think I levelled faster with this gear. (On the contrary .. spent hours in LFG).

With the "new" exp system - questing will get you to 70 i no time, and then you worry about gear.
