Ok so i decided to Roll a Mage, now this is not my first toon, but this is my first caster. So any help on what specc to pick would be much appreciated, i know Fire equals power and Frost equals mob Control. But which one will keep me alive... Since im new to casters i kinda wanna live.

frost u will be able to stay alive by slowing them and sometimes freezing them inplace while just casting. so seeing as u want to stay alive go full frost untill ur used to mages.

For your first mage you would want to start frost for the benifit of slowing your target down.... but around 45 you can make a damn nice PoM pyro spec but for a beginer caster go frost
