Leveling/questing through to 70 is hard straight resto, a nice mix of balance and resto is good for both instances (with the right healing gear) and grinding out those leveling quests. Might need to do do a couple of retrains to find the right mix.
Feral druids are by far the easiest to quest and level as. You OOM a lot less, because you are using energy and rage rather than mana, which you use for both resto and balance. Pure restoration solo questing is really difficult, you don't deal much damage so it takes forever to kill things.
My advice is to learn how to tank, you can still be feral and get into instances as a melee DPS (cat form), Tank (bear) or Off-tank. If you want to level fast and get into instances at the same time, I would say feral is the way to go.
I think if you want to go resto is to stay resto save money and when you get 70 and keys and all you can go resto but you will need really good items because people don't want bad healers when the raid a instance.
Resto Druid for the win. Get Resto now and learn how to use and gear it.
