what professions do you think are best for a healer? im thinking engineering just for the goggles and the fact that you can make the goggles for all three specs for my shaman cus i plan on respecing when im not needed for heals

I wouldnt choose a profession just for one item. Engineering can be fun but you need to realize that it is a money pit. Personally I would stick with gathering/money maker professions. If you do that youll get your epic flyer a lot easier and you could easily drop a gathering profession later when WOTLK comes out and pick up inscription.

Really you can pick whatever you want and whatever prof you feel on picking.

even though Alchemy isnt too bad after all.
it saved me bunch, and plus it is SUCH a GOLD making Porfession.
