      There is a Paladin version of it, Sunward Crest. Its pretty good for pallys I think.

        they r both pally tank shields, the sunward crest is for fighting trash mobs and the dawnforged defender is for fighting bosses

      This is a Prot-Warrior shield, as the Sunward Crest is for Prot-pallies :)
