I am a lvl 93 skinner and seem to have hit a deadend...Ive asked around and looked myself but cant seem to find a region to skin...can anyone let me know where I could look?

Hey there mate! good place to look would be wetlands or even around loch modan but thats for alliance

Depends on what lvl your toon is....lots of beasts in Ashenvale then Wetlands then Arathi Highlands...and if your high enough lvl to survive...Stranglethorn Vale is FULL of beasts.

For me i find solo skinning in Hillsbrad Foothills for lvs 25-30 , Arathi Highlands for lvs 30-40, Stranglethorn Vale for lvs 35-45. I dont like the Wetlands bec when i go at least once a day i get killed by an alliance which r all over the place, but it would be for lvs 25-35.
For Kalimador i only likeis Thousand Needles(very clustered so would be hard if u r not at least lv 30-35), and Ashenvale which is pretty much like the Wetlands and is for lvs 20-30.

Just about pets:
Birds from Arathi Highlands good speed
Raptors from Arathi Highland great DPS
Gorillas from Stranglethorn Vale good damage and health
Turtles from Hilsbrad great armor but bad DPS 
Dragonhawks from Everson Woods r good for fire breath
