hey, I am an UD kock and i love the look of felguard but i tried demonlogy and it sucked lol im 47 and it did nothing for me. I dont know whether to now stay affliction or at 50 go back to demonlogy, can someoone help???

can can someone tell me the pro's and con's of each talent tree plz!

i am full demo. i love my felguard. you kinda struggle at first but it is worth it. I was speecc'd in destro. I found that it used alot of my mana but you do kill the target alot faster. Affl. is alright. but if you want a demon that does killer dmg go demo. but it is up to you. try one and if you don't like respec

how much dmg does a felguard actually do?

they do a hell of alot. they kill targets fast. I dot them do two sb and they are dead...

Pros and Cons

Afflication:- pros - low mana usage, can use dark pact with imp to use as a mana battery when ur low on mana, lots of dots enabling good choice of damage, great on bosses within instances. Cons - No solid damage output in PVP or PVE, unless fighting bosses, lack the survivability through demo tree. If a mob attacks you u'll probably be dead by the time your dots have taken effect.

Demo:- pros - good choice of improved minions, great in solo and groups, have improved cc with succy, good in BG and arena due to armor, stam int buffs that minions give. Great at lvling, if they get past ur minions, instant summon another and dps to death. Felguard, highest dps minion
Cons - Biggest draw back is the fact that in instances there is no real need to use minion except for imp for stamina buff (unless u need cc through succy). You also will lack the improved dots through afflic so not so good on long boss fights

Destro - pros - excellent dps, fast casting, great at leveling, wanted mainly in raids as dps along with mages, doesnt rely on minions so much
cons - very high mana use, lacks pvp abilities through demo, will have to use life tap alot in long boss fights, so need to have a good healer to watch ya back

The best build is a cross build, look on warlocksden.com or wowwikki.com these go into more depth than what I have

wow mommylock you are wrong on multiple levels on destro!

Excellent dps....correct.....fast casting not so much......great at leveling, WRONG (unless you like sitting and drinking after every mob. Lacks PVP abilities...Wrong, of course unless you dont like to kill the other players. Destro is pure DPS, more than any other spec in PVP you completely own ur target.

You should spec your toon this way.

1-49 Affl could go to 55

50-70 Demo

70 back to afflic to get better honor for pvp gear, which you will be purchasing crit gear for destro.

70 destro

A good PvE build that I have is 6/44/11.  You get instant corruption, a bit of life drain bonus, a powerhouse demon, and Shadowburn for emergencies.  I actually use VW most of the time for large groups to farm (anything less than 5 targets and you are wasting time and mana).

As far as leveling goes, straight down the demo tree is still a good choice but you should max points in improving you VW for a few levels rather than jumping straight into Felguard.

The VW may not hit as hard but it can take a huge beating and if you bite off more than you can chew... sac for the shield, Howl of Terror, instant summon another to keep your shield up and start droping targets.  High enough level and you can have a bit of a bonus to your life drain and a shadow burn to blast a target that strays from the pack.

Warning - This spec = only so so for PvP I am afraid.  I dunno maybe I just suck at PvP lol.
