Before you flame me (for not searching), know that I already searched the spell itself on thottbot, but the spell description doesn't say anything and also none of the comments there said it either.

So it has a 3 second cooldown, and therefore can't proc off itself, but will Stormstrike (isn't this the only yellow melee attack Shamans have?) proc WF?

Also for dual-wield, WF/WF or WF/RB or WF/FB or WF/FT? I presume 2 slow weapons (Stormstrike) would be the way to go, but which configuration would be best? (for DPS/leveling)

BTW does WF totem stack with Rogue poisons?

WF only procs off white damage. WF/WF will give you the highest DPS as an enhancement shammy, while weilding 2 of the slowest weapons you can find. Preferably axes if you're an orc.

Oh and stormstrike does not produce yellow damage. The yellow is your WF proc itself. Stormstrike just makes you swing 2 at once and put the increased nature damage debuff on ur enemy.

How would WF/WF give best total DPS when its on a global cooldown? No matter what hand procs WF, it initiates the CD. Wouldn't it be more effecient to use FT on the offhand?

There have been over 1000 complicated calculations which all proved WF/Wf with slow weps are the bomb to maximize your dps.

I started too with WF slow main / FT fast offhand. Believe me, you will see massive amount off difference when using WF/WF (slow weapons are a MUST!).

and PS: get something like shaman-friend add-on to display your WF procs and you'll be in heaven.

WF procs for me every time I start the battle with stormstrike and when i dont it takes a few hits. I think it does accutally because the spell says "20% chance per hit" and stormstrike really is 2 hits.

BTW you waist windfury on a fast weapon because it rarely procs per hit and when it does the damage is low. If you use 1 slow weapon like an axe it rarely procs at all. If you use 2 slow weapons it procs almost every cooldown for alot of damage ^^

BTW bananaz 2 slow weapons are always better for dps and lving ^^
