hey i just started wow and i wana make a priest but i have no idea what to do and what to pick so if u could help  plz do

I'm not giong to go over all the choices you can make in WoW, so please specify whether you mean:

What class (priest, mage, warrior, etc.)

What type of priest (holy, discipline, or shadow)

What talents to get for that type (spirit tap, imp wands, etc.)

What professions (alchemy, skinning, minin, etc.)

What gear type/stats (cloth, intellect, stamina, etc.)

Something else????? if you have no idea, start out with telling us about what you want to do in this game.

My advice, pick a class that sounds interesting and fun to you and play it a bit to see if you like it.  After you've settled on a class, then try to figure out what it is about that class that you like.  For instance, with a Priest, if you enjoy it, is it because you like healing or because you like doing damage?  If you like the first, we can help you put together a good healing build and set.  If it's the latter, we can help you put together a mean shadow build.

The most important thing is to make sure you find a class and a spec you enjoy and worry more about how it should be played later.

If you want to be a Holy Priest and you want to be Alliance, play either a Human (preferable) or a Draenei (acceptable).  Any other race is inferior.  If you want to play Horde, I don't think any of those races really matter.

I'd also suggest you look in the priest talents forum where I (and others) have discussed various Holy Builds at length.  Since you plan to be Holy in the end, I do specifically recommend a hybrid Disc/Holy build for leveling and respeccing to either 23/38 or 20/41 when you reach 70.

As for gear, focus on Int, Stam, and Spirit in earlier levels.  When you get to higher ones, focus on +Healing, Spirit, Int, and Stamina for your healing set, and +Damage, Hit, Int, Crit for your soloing DPS set.  Haste only really enters the picture when you've been 70 for a bit and can stack a reasonable amount of it.

Beyond that, just make one, play around, and learn the ropes.  Come back and ask if you have specific questions after that.
