Does anybody know ho to get a second pet, or dump the one I have and get a new one ?? lvl 34 hunter

Right click on the pets icon and hit Abandon Pet, or find a stable master and stable it to go out and train a new pet. You can have 2 stabled pets and one active.

Or if abandoning him makes you feel guilty, just stop feeding him.  Eventually he will run away.  That's what I did till I found out I could abandon him with the click of the mouse.
