nah stick with wat you've got. i know guys that are dropping enchanting cos mats are expensive and the return isnt that great. im an engineer but at 375 i jus make stuff to sell.
all the hi level enchant stuff arent easy to get. recipes drop in raids etc. its easier for me to sell a gyro balanced khorium destroyer for 1000g and but watever enchants i need off that
I can only recommend that you stick with your skinning proff. combined with leatherworking. I am at 370 skills now, I make good profit on items and can make nice epic huntergear when i`m att skill 375.
All proffs cost to lvl up, but there is profit to gain also, when you get high enough. F.ex. Heavy Knothide Armorkit, its so easy to farm (10 min.) and goes for 10-15g a piece. When I put them on ah, there sold after max. 1 hour. Later you can get nethercleft leg armor which takes a bit longer to farm - but sells for 200-250 a piece. Choose carefulle when I come to the specialization. I chose Dragonscale to make nice mailgear for my hunter. And its important to get reputation the right places, so you can buy the good recipes for leatherworking when levelling skills. Check out the vendors in diff. places and see how much rep. you need to buy from them. When that is said, I still have spended a lot more at levelling my skills than profit so far - but hopefully that will change when im 375 and have made my own gear. Also I kinda like wearing stuff I have made myself and worked hard to get. Better than getting it for free (but I´m probably a bit weird about that - just a matter of proff. pride...lol) What ever you chose - good luck Aurio
i think what the gentleman above me mentioned is pretty accurate. i'm a level 375 dragonscale LW, i have awesome patterns, made the full set of Ebon armor before i got all my full epic gladiator gear, but also the leg armor kits, riding crops, and a few other patterns, definitely make LW worth it for a hunter, especially since we'll never wear plate armor or be able to use maces, so that's why i feel like blacksmithing is a waste for a hunter.
but it depends, if you're looking for a good profession in order to make yourself armor and stuff, stick with LW, if you're looking to make money, do what i did with one of my alt toons. i chose skinning and mining, and all i do is gather. i can smelt the ore i mine, so i'm able to sell a ton of bars and leather everyday on the AH since these items are always in huge demand because people just don't feel like putting in the time. they'd rather just spend the money and get it over with. to each his own, personally, i'm dying to get into engineering so i can make that awesome goblin rocket launcher for my hunter, lol Add Comment
