Hey guys i had success leveling and doing 5 mans with this spec as a fury war that likes tanking. I know theres been problems with tanks with low dps when not needed as a tank, so how would this work as a full time raid OT?

ok i dont want this to sound nasty but you may be able to tank/dps instances
But when it comes to raids you either need to be a full tank or a full dps ( not meaning you need all 61 points in 1 tree either )

your talent tree is kind of all over the place you have most of your points in fury yet you chose to ignore the benaficial moves like improved exacute, improved whirlwind, sword specilisation ( a tank or off-tank needs his wepon to keep aggro... this halfs the chance of being disarmed )

my advice is if you like to tank then tank but i wouldnt even attempt any raid in that spec as you will probally be dissapointed with the outcome

go 17/44/00

SEARCH THE DAMN SPEC ON THE DAMN INTERNET, ITS A COOKIE BUTTER ONE.

equip board when needed, DPS in the rest of the instance. Easy piecie.

Warrior arent good in being hybrids+gear>spec anyway.

OT needs shield.  You have 5 points in dual wield specialization, and none in shield.  I think I'd rather have a shaman with a shield be OT.  Shields add tons of armor, and have some damage mitigation (if you have 15% block, and block 200 damage, thats about 1/6 of a hit in Kara).  Improved Shield block is also a must.  Every little bit helps.

You also have no points in deflection.  It directly decreases damage taken by an easy to calculate amount.  You'll take 1% less damage with each point, and deal more damage (when you parry, it does decrease the time to next swing).

The problem with the build is you can't OT with it, and you wasted some points trying to make it so you won't stink as much.  The only use you have is IF your MT dies, and you want to try and prevent a wipe.  What you should do is remove defiance and improved sunder.  You won't need these if you MT dies, mostly what you want to do is buy a 15 seconds of time.  you also don't need  as much Anticipation, until you max deflection.  with 3 points, you increase all three defensive abilities by .48%.  3 points in deflection would decrease the damage you take better, so take a point off anticipation, and put it in deflection.  Now you have +10% armor, and better damage reduction.

Take off the points in blood crazy.  You won't be getting crit much from melee, and when you are (preventing wipes) getting 6% of your HP won't matter as much, given you have 12K HP, thats 720 HP, about 1/2 a hit.

You might want points in 'improved demoralizing shout', because it really takes the edge off of physical damage.  or add points to commanding presence, and use commanding shout, so your tank will have 200 more HP.

I guess you either haven't tanked, or like me, don't pay too much attention to the damage you take while tanking.  I didn't realize that I was being hit for over 1k consistently in normal level 70 instances.  I believe some hit for around 2k.

I love idiots, my guild quited doing Karazhan so I'm mostly stuck with PuG's, have 14800hp unbuffed in protgear(so 15k+ when im protspecced) and I sign up as offtank(mind you, my raidspec is fury) and I have actualy been kicked a lot cause as fury it seems like I cant offtank, wel thats a new one for me, I freaking offtank as fury in BT!

Wel, not that I mind it, al I need there are badges anyway :p.

Shaman tanking? wel, he isnt critimmume, has 50% of my armor, has no 60% avoidence like I have so please, stfu about things you have no clue about, shamans might be good in Azoroth instaneces(I actualy cleared ST with me on my hunter, a mage,2 shamans(tanking) and a palie healer)

If you want to be a fury warrior stick with DPS and focus only on that

That are you can just swap gear and be a vialble offtank without taking a les good DPS like feral druid or other protection warrior/paladin.
