you get the cat in the human starting place the second you leave the n00b area for the humans look for a npc called crazy cat lady she sells them

some are made by engineers... yeti and squirrel and frog.
i got a mana wyrmling from netherstrom i think and all the holiday (seasonal) events give u something. like snowman or reindeer, i got a wolpertinger - rabit with antlers
