Ive been doing BGs for a while now and im still a way to go from getting the lv 60 epic set. But in outland the uncommons are uspposed to be better than epics here. Is it really worth it then? (btw go to the section of thottbot to see the accutal epic set and look at shaman gear)

No the 60 epics suck.

Well they're good for pre-BC gear, but once you get into Outlands, it's gonna be replaced in a day or 2 (playing like an hour a day)

for horde like i am , i recommend to do at lvl 60 alot of AV cuz i heard that lvl 61-70 horde get pwned alot more, but lvl 51-60 i won every av so far

The armor is not worth it, but my 68 rogue is still using the level 60 daggers I bought with honor points at 60. There is nothing in BC to replace them until 69, 70.

Im into outland lv 61 now and the shoulders are still great cause they look awesome with +agil +sta +intel and +str which is what i need. The other stuff, well I found items in outland way better but the axes are still pwnage.

The way I look at it, i'm going to earn my entire 70 epic S2 gear while i'm 60th. The auto honor you get from AV in the 50-60, were the HORDE wins every game, compared to the 61-70 AV were the Alliance wins thier fair share.

Since I plan to stay 60 for along time (time needed to get all 70 epic gear) I want to have fun which means pumping up the volume on gear. I got 3 pieces of the epic set and two of the rare set. Just enough to get both set bonuses. This way, since im staying in the bracket for an extended period of time I can rest assured im going to love my toon.

only get the weapon(s)
