which race is most effective as a shadow priest that is on the horde i would prefer a undead but im up for any comments out there

I had a Bloodelf one at 18 he was good only made him  cause I know every sing bloodelf quest.

The best Shadow priest race is undead, because of their racail priest skill that they get. Devouring plague. its a extra dps spell that does crazy damage, and heals you to top. SW:P causes 1236 shadow damage at rank 10, as devouring plauge 1216 at rank 7, and it heals you.
Also you cant forget about Will of the Forsaken.

The best shadow priest race's are horde Undead for the devouring plauge spell all dmg done is healing the caster and for Allince Night Elf for the Star Shards spell(free dot) 30 sec CD cost no mana.

No, Night Elves are not the best Shadow Priests.  Star Shards is some free extra damage, but it's not a lot of damage and because it's Arcane, it doesn't effect VE or VT.  Draenei are the better choice for Alliance because of Symbol of Hope and Inspiring presence, they may do ever so slightly less damage, but 1% more hit to your part from Inspiring presence is huge.  And, since a Shadow Priest is there primarily to restore mana in the first place, getting that much more mana back from Symbol of Hope is better.

IOW, the extra damage that the hit gives you (because your party members can trade out some hit gear for more crit and/or damage) along with the extra mana, it completely trumps Star Shards.

FTR, I was not responding to the OP, I was responding directly the the post I quoted, specifically the remark that NEs make the best Alliance Priests; hence, why I quoted it.  I didn't bother to directly reply to the OP because his question had already been answered.

Further, if you've browsed other similar threads, you've probably seen me say multiple times that Undead is the best race for Shadow Priests in the game, and that Draenei are the best Alliance race.

It would behoove you to read the context before replying with a baseless insult in a contentless post.
