Hey guys & girls. Iv been playing World of Warcraft for about one year now, & through out that time I have always been a clicker, doing a decent job in both PvE & PvP. However, I am trying to break the habbit of a life time & become a button basher rather than clicking.

Im a level 67 Protection Spec Warrior, with PvE (Tanking Dungeons) as my main goal. I have always used EDSF buttons for movement as this is how my hand naturally rests. Iv also recently set up a nice way to stance dance, & its all done by the use of my middle mouse button... scroll forwards on it for Battle Stance, scroll backwards for Berserker Stance & Click down on the middle mouse button for Defensive Stance. But still im having difficulty binding the rest of my keys in a way that works well feel natural.

As i only have a bog standard mouse & keyboard i feel that the they way i set up my movement keys to EDSF is a benefit as it opens up more keys that are easilly reachable to keybind. Iv got QWRTAGVC & buttons 123456 to play with that are all in reachable range of my fingures.

I would really like to see how other Warriors have set up their keybinds & would also like to see what moves you have bound to what keys when tanking, so then i can get a basic idea on how i should setup my keybinds, be using your replies as a blueprint if you like (some thing to go by).

I would just like to thank you all for taking the time to read this, & id also like to thank anyone who takes the time to replie. :)

Personally i use wasd to move but move my hand over to 567 when i tank. To this end I use
4 Taunt
5 Revenge
6 Shield Slam
7 Devistate
8 Shield block
as these fit where my hand sits. When moving and tanking i switch my had to wasd & just click. I'm also using a gaming mouse with 2 thumb buttons, the front one is my heroic strike & the back is Intervene. Although your movement setup sounds a lot nicer, im too stuck in my ways now :P

With a setup like yours i'd advise having R and T bound to intervene and taunt as these 2 moves work well spammed together, probably have 234 for Revenge, SS & devastate in whichever order you find most comfortable. Maby W for SB & 5 for HS. then you've got A & Q free for TC & demo shout, even R for comm shout. Anything else isn't worth binding in my opinion, as most other abilities get used rarely if ever. although Having Zerker's rage on 2, 3 or 4 is probably advisable as that's where your hand will be anyway.

It helps having a big fat panic button for Last stand. If you have your mouse next to your keyboard then + on the number pad works well (could be personal bias though :P)

I think I've mentioned everything that's worth putting on a key. Everything else you use so rarely that clicking it won't hurt much (with the possible exception of cleave).

This is just a suggestion, try it, bin it whatever you like.  A lot of this has come from my personal experience but my best advice is to just play with it until you find a setup that works for you.
