(long answer, thottbot gets the information on this site from players, and it can occur that someone uses some gray item to trade between alliance and horde with help of someone else, if his addon accidentally picks up that sale and the owner submits his data to thottbot it can occur that some weird value is added to the site - always double check a auction value in /2 and/or on www.wowecon.com )
