Hey guys, I'm still new to WoW but I pick up quick, I just have a few questions about my hunter.

Is there a way I can get more HP? Everyone else around my lvl has  lots more then me, 413 at lvl 19. Is this just the hunter class? Or is there something I'm not doing?

Also, what's better, a two handed sword? Or duel wield swords?

Much thanks if someone can help me.

Hey, I often post in the fourms for help because im farily new, but this is something I can help with so, i feel im obligated to.

To get more HP you need gear that gives + stam

As far as dual wield vrs 2hand
for hunters you wont be melee'ing much anyway so its all about the stats.

personally i go for +stam and +agil so, if u find 2 one handers that give u better stats then one 2 hander then go ahead and dual wield

hope this helps

As for your questions FullMetal, here's the scoop. I'm a level 70 hunter myself with tier 4 weapons and armor, been playing as a hunter for a long time and i've tried everything out. As far as your first question, ya, the guy above me is right, just get armor and weapons with an added stamina bonus, and that'll increase your overall health. Typically, i tend to stick with a good 2 handed axe or polearm since the added stats of stamina and agility usually are far greater on 1- 2 handed weapon, than what you'll have on 2-1 handed weapons. as a hunter, you're strength is to let your pet do the tanking, and your raw power is far greater using your ranged weapon than engaging in melee. but don't worry too much about stamina, for a hunter, it's about dishing out as much dps as possible. take the agility bonuses every time when you get the chance. Agility gives you added armor bonus, dodge increase, and the best of all, increased critical stricking ability. even if you have an extra 100 health, if you're dishing out far greater damage and you have armor bonuses, that'll more than make up for your little lack of health

as far as the reason why everyone around you have such great stats at level 19, well thats cause they're probably all twinks. a "twink", is basically when someone who's a high level character in the game, has a huge surplus of money, makes a level 19, 29, 39 and so on character, uses money from they're high level character to buy the twink a ton of awesome high end weapons, armor, enchants, ect.
for instance, i have a level 19 hunter as well; i have him at almost 1600 health because of various rare items i've made and bought for him. my main toon is a 375 leatherworker and i have netherclft kits that adds +40 stamina to leg armor, in other words, thats another 400 health right there. most of the reason people do this, is for PVP purposes and to play in battlegrounds. if you're not into battlegrounds, or PVP in general, then dn't bother wasting your time or money. then again, as a 19 hunter, my twink can pawn any level 20-26 warrior, mage, rogue, hunter with regular green items, so it's a nice advantage thats for sure, but all about personal preference.

I'm relatively knew as well, but also a fast learner. What I've learned is that when it comes to a hunter, agility is key. As for the 2h vs dual, I personally like dual because it gives twice the stat boosts at my level (34 currently). As was stated before, you don't have to worry about dps on them as you should be relying on your bow & pet for most of your damage.
