Are there any stats, chants, etc that increase the damage done by a wand?

On Priest's I know for sure they have a wand special talent where it increases damage.  I think and correct me if I'm wrong, Warlock's also have a similar talent.  Good luck.

my guess would be spelldamage
but i cant find that verified on wowwiki in the short time i have now

if you have gear with spelldamage at the moment, you could try to wand a bit to see your current dps then to put some gear in your bag and see if it is performing less etcetc

Priests have the ability to up there wand damage by 25% within the dicsipline talent tree. Not sure about other damage enhancers for wands.

Want damage is almost useless.. why would you want to buff its damage?

Wand damage is not useless whatsoever.  Only time it becomes lessed used is when you hit lvl 70.  It is perfect for leveling.  You DoT a mob up, then you wand them down, saves a lot of mana, and leaves you with less down time of drinking for mana.

My main is a level 70 discipline priest...and that is how i leveled. Mind blast, dot, damage shield and wand them down = none stop pulling and very little resting to drink. Plus 25% damage increase is considerable when you are wanding for 200+ every 2 seconds. If you get good regen on your mana you can kill non-stop.

One thing,,,if you use this method get a few different wands because i found i ran into mobs that where immune to some damage types. Get arcane and fire and you will be gtg.

Just my 2-cents

Certain wands shoot certain types of damage:  Fire, Frost, etc

As far as I can tell, if you have a Fire wand, then anything that Increases your fire damage applies to the wand also.

paladin's judged seal of wisdom + wand -> mana back through seal + mana from mp5 + mana from not casting + some extra damage on the mob

useless is such a big word.
not usefull in certain situation seems to be more the case here

(for example)
dont expect to win lots of pvp as a mage with your wand
but if you and your paladin opponent are both out of mana
my bet is on the wand and not a melee encounter ;)

useless is such a big word.

Anyone who has a mana pool to take care of, such as Priests and Mages finds the wand a very useful tool.

In questing it is used to finish off mobs. That saves mana, saves drinks/biscuits, saves money & reduces downtime.

However, I agree it is not worth upping the damage too much. Usually the difference is not worth considering, it just means you have to hit the mob one more time.

In PvE I use it to conserve mana, and to escape the 5 Second Rule (nevermind if you don't know about that). If the tank has things under control, it just causes that extra little damage to the mob.

In PvP is practically useless, of course. I use it to get rid of those totems shamans like to pepper around the place, or to interrupt an opponent trying to cap a flag, things like that.

[ EDIT ] As Liman01 already said anyway :-)
