WHY ARE YOU POPPING TBW WHEN HE'S IN STEALTH!????

EDIT: Rogues with Shadowstep that use Backstab = stupid.

I have to disagree, as a sub specc'ed rogue with daggers, hemhorrange favors dagger and deals out it's 500-600 damage quickley when you're daggers flash attacks that quickley. plus, with improved backstab, my backstab has a 30% better crit chance than my sinister strik. for noobs, the largest crits are ranked as follows

1. ambush, largest melee crit in the entire game.
2. mutilate, if target is poisoned, a crit that is oo close to ambust it could be it's twin, except theirs no stealth required. otherwise, no poison makes it just a decent crit.
3. backstab... 150% weapon damage plus 250% as much extra bonus than sinister strike... has a lot lot of crit chance if you go 3 points into assassination.
4. sinister strike. 100% weapon damage, plus a small bonus. more worthwile if you reduce energy cost.
5. rupture 110% weapon damage... crits from this move usually go unoticed.
5. normal crit from a sword.... ehh... not too bad.
6. normal dagger crit... small, they happen... alot.

Shadowstep plus backstab, it's just a nice chance to get in that fatal ending crit. also, note that with improved poisons, dual weilding daggers is only good way to use two diffrent poisons sucessfully. sword are too slow.
