@Liman01:
Every time I walk through Best Buy or Future Shop, I happen on Phantasy Star. I've read some reviews on it and it seems like another grinder game, but I like some of the features it has. Not sure still, but would you recommend it at all? I know you said best console MMO and there is a PC version.
@bananaz:
Seems like the preview for this game was quite hyper. Great graphics, beautiful ever-changing environment, interesting game play, etc. I might give it a try. That or I can save up for a Fallout 3 Collector's edition - huge fan of Fallout series.
Though I'm thinking that Warhammer Online is probably like a 'mature' version of WoW in terms of story board (which it is) and the feel of the game. I might give that a try too.
@Gnomoli5:
It's all good. I used to play Furcadia. You know? It's about fuzzy animals in clothes that walk on their hind legs and interact with people via role playing. I think Toontown is cooler though.
@butterhead:
WoW, like other games after awhile gets boring. Sometimes, I want a little bit of action. Sometimes, I want a more in-depth role playing game. Sometimes, I want gorgeous scenery while doing battle with an enemy fleet amongst a massive armada of Minmater warships.
^_^

I was totally and utterly disappointed at the movie. I remember before it came out, everyone was hyping on it. It was like "It's based on the game!" We should have known better, but come on - it was based on the game! ^_^
So we watched it and half way through, people in the audience were making fun of the scenes - the super cheesy lame ass scenes. Man, that was... Yeah.
That part about the landing strip totally did not make sense. I remember my friend saying "WTH?!?! IT'S IN SPACE! WHY DO YOU NEED TO LAND LIKE THAT?!?!?" Hahaha!
That thing about sound - you're completely right! We were like "Excuse me? Sound through space? How the hell does sound travel through nothing?"
Ah sheesh. A great game turned into a terrible movie. I hope if they ever make a Starcraft or a Warcraft movie, it won't turn out to be crap.
Phantasy Star Online: for Dreamcast (loved the game but became boring after about a few months, best console MMO I've played)

From what someone told me today over a million people were in the Beta (of AoC).

I have only played wow and I am thinking, why try anything else?
