I have a 70 Shammy that is a 375 engineer. Does it help him, no but I have made tons of gold from the scopes and guns that can be made (Parachute cloak comes in handy in the outlands). I suggest miner with engineering. You can actually buy better guns and ammo sometimes from vendors cheaper than you can make them.
