Definitely not worth the expense to make.  I have this on my 70 rogue.  The +AP is terrific, but the boar itself is a bit lame.  It only hits for 20-70 and has almost no hp.  As stated above, it gets 2-3 shotted if it actually pulls something onto itself while "fighting for you"
