Solo'd on my third try as a 25 Shaman.  I knew it was gonna be tough but was determined to do it.  Alright, so the bear walked in to the village for the final encounter.  I was already fighting two mobs on me, when the other three spawned, and all came running straight for me!  Not a single mob on the bear!  The bear just kept moseying right through the village like nothing happened.  5 mobs on me! 

So I threw down a stone claw totem (AoE aggro for you non-shamans), pulled of a quick heal while they were distracted, Used my instant ghost wolf talent and went running out of the fray, chasing after Ruul, who unmolested walked far enough out of the village to complete the quest.
