Is there even a quartermaster for these guys? Or are they just there only for the achievements?

I have out quested every area with these guys in it, but the minute I completed the quest to sign em up to the Horde, all the rep goes to Horde Expedition. WTF is up with that? I've been sitting on Honoured +9695 ever since.

i am +9695 as well. maybe their will be more rep + QM in later patch

Actually, I don't see any achievement regarding the Taunka. Tuskarmageddon is the achievment for the Kalu'ak and the only thing required for the Winds of the North achievement is the Horde Expedition rep to be exalted.

As far as I can see, this group is pointless right now.

Not useless.

Their rep works towards the Horde Expedition (which has a quartermaster)

The Taunka are currently a rewardless faction, like the Shen'dralar. They have no daily quests.

It's possible they could be given some kind of faction reward in the future. But that seems like it would be massively unfair, since their Alliance counterpart, the Frostborn, although also currently rewardless, have a daily quest. So it's possible to be building Frostborn rep already, but Taunka rep stops dead.

Which is too bad. I'd help out if I could -- event to just to buy some stuff for those poor orphan babies in the top of Agmar's Hammer. There's not a stick of furniture up there! What, the Horde doesn't believe in bassinets?

Not an achievement to be exalted with them inparticular, but there is an achievement to be Exalted with "X" number of factions.

yes that is where they got the idea for the name from, the native american word for buffalo as these folks are similar to buffalo

there must be a bigger story line between these guys and the taurens in the future..i sure hope so, and a few daily qs to get rep with them would be nice as well.

i understand from earlier posts that they have no daylies, and ive goten 9695/12000 as everyone else.

Q is: does "horde expedition-rep" (from instances without tabard)make u gain taunka rep?
