You read my mind, I was waiting to read a recent post slamming the person's 3 year old post.  30g/day was awesome back then.

Anyhow, I make money with engineering now.  Once you max it out, my mote extractor gets me primal motes all the time.  One time in Nagrand I went to help a friend, whilst flying overhead in my Turbo Charged Flying machine (worth engineering right there!) I spotted about 3 windy clouds which netted me close to 15 motes of air, and I wasn't even trying.  Another day I found two clouds side by side in Shadowmoon Valley that got me a primal shadow (10 motes), again, I wasn't even trying, I was just coming back from a daily.

I have sold Deadly Blunderbus', which are used for a Horde quest (I am horde), scopes and an assortment of other items.  I have made money on it, but I don't try to, I make money on my mining when needed, and now that I am 70, I make money on dailies, my mining supports my engineering which I use to make my arrows which do 43dps, not to mention the goggles, shrink ray, net-o-matic which is handy in PvP... I LOVE engineering!!
