The icy continent of Northrend is located between the continents of Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms and features eleven zones.

Howling Fjord (68 - 72
The Howling Fjord, is located at the southeastern part of Northrend.  The Howling Fjord contains the Utgarde Keep dungeon and the alliance town Valgarde.

Borean Tundra (68 - 72)
The Borean Tundra is the location of the Tuskarr capital of Kaskala, the Horde outpost of Warsong Hold, and the Alliance settlement Valiance Keep. The island of Coldarra, found off the coast of the Borean Tundra, contains The Nexus dungeon.

The Dragonblight (71 - 75)
The Dragonblight is a massive dragon graveyard. Malygos and the Blue Dragonflight guard the bones from atop the peak of the ancient Titan city, now known as Wyrmrest Temple. Here lies the Chamber of the Aspects.

Zul'Drak (73 - 76)
Zul'Drak is the homeland of the Gun'Drak, a 10/25-man raid instance. Drak'Tharon Keep, an ancient stronghold that has been overrun by the Scourge is also accesible here.

Grizzly Hills (74 - 76)
Grizzly Hills is the home of the furlbog city Grizzlemaw. Grizzly Hills is also the new home of Arugal and his legion of Worgen, ther is also another entrance to Drak'Tharon Keep. There are both Horde and Alliance camps here as well as a possible world pvp objective.

Azjol-Nerub (74 - 78)
This is the very first completely underground zone in World of Warcraft and there are rumors of this zone containing a few instances, thought not yet named or confirmed.

Sholazar Basin (75 - 78)
The Sholazar Basin is a zone torn in a faction war between the Wolvar and the Oracles . Hemet Nesingwary and a crew of his men return to hunt this land - however, new organization known as D.E.H.T.A (Druids for the Ethical and Humane Treatment of Animals) will do anything they can to stop Nesingwary's.

The Storm Peaks (77 - 80)
Storm Giants and their golems inhabit The Storm Peaks  which are in the ancient Titan city of Ulduar (which will be a multi-wing dungeon and raid zone).  This zone also houses the Temple of Storms, a mysterious area populated by giants and guarded by golems.

Icecrown Glacier (77 - 80)
Icecrown Glacier is an enormous glacier that has become part of the Northrend continent. Arthas, the new Lich King, commands the Scourge from here, his Frozen Throne.  The glacier is a barren, icy wasteland completely overrun with undead.  Four large obelisks surround the Citadel and must be "triggered" somehow in order to access Citadel itself.  This will result in facing the Lich King, Arthas Menethil.

Lake Wintergrasp (Outdoor PvP)
The large frozen lake on Northred is Lake Wintergrasp. Dedicated solely to world PVP, exciting new additions are added.  Destructible buildings, air combat and siege weaponry.  Although it is not instanced, it will resemble a battleground.  However, the sides may not always be even and the combat may often be unfair.  There will be rewards for completing objectives as well as a new currency similar to Sprit Shards for buying unique items. Lake Wintergrasp is intended to be an epic PVP zone with nonstop action.  Hopefulyl this will revive world PVP once again.

Dalaran (Neutral Capital City)
The giant mysterious purple bubble previously found in the Alterac Mountains, also known as Dalaran, is being relocated to float above the continent of Northrend and will be a neutral capital city similar to Shattrath City in Outland. It will also be a nuetral santuary and there will be no class trainers nor an auction house.

right now there no moter cycles. sry :( But there will be planes that can bomb and fight other planes and there wil be ALOT of siege wepons(the humans have around 7) but theres no moter cycles that can shoot since you earn the siege weapons in other ways than making them(maybe reputatation grinding: Examaple: Exalted with AV rep gives Dwarf weapons) but its just a maybe. Blizzard have not made the final choice between how to get them...maybe you get them by quest???? nobody knows

im curious, before the expension, like the month before, i wonder if theyll bring back the scourge invasion event....
also, i like how theres actually a choice of zones to lvl up in, instead of one or two strict choices for lvling, that will make lvling a little more fun

But i heard that they were going to take naxx and move it above northrend somewhere as a lv 80 25 man. i hope they keep it as hard as it was. As difficult as it was, the four horsemen (among others) were some of the most difficult and rewarding battles of lv 60 content. dont nerf it plz blizzard.

The reason why they do not have a portal to get to northrend is simply because it's not a completly different universe, its only north of Easter kingdoms and kalimdor.

Hope this helps.
