Created this little macros to spam while flying around.

I found Zul Drak Sentinel at 40.58 Zul Drak. He walks in a straight line there and across the argent place. I used that macro, clicked on it while flying and was able to find him. He dropped a bag of goodies - 22g, 20 cloth, 3 crystalized earth; and he also dropped Eternal Observer's Legplates, https://thottbot.com/i44677

I just killed King Krush in Sholozar :-(. As a hunter i had aimed to tame him ( i use a devilsaur as my main pet anyway) but a mage got to him first before i could, so instead i helped her kill him. Better than nothing i guess, i was actually looking for Loq when i cam across him but i think most hunters hate this achievement as it makes the ones we want even harder to get when you guys are all killing them off.
I'm now going to go sell is ring on AH...most buy outs are 150g, so i suppose some good has come of this even if i feel a tad annoyed. =
NPCSCAN is a sweet addon...
If you're using the button mashing technique for a macro you usually forget to do it as you're questing, grinding, etc anyway (unless all you're doing is focusing on finding the rares)
NPCScan is the best thing ever. It alerted me to Putridius the ancient when I hearthed in to Dalaran! It found him in icecrown when I was in freaking Dalaran!
Yeah, I agree that finding and killing these rares is so addictive! I was about to get my 4th in one day- and as I was typing out in gchat for anyone else to get credit for the kill too, an orc hunter comes and nabs it! Grab these when you see them. Oh well, wasn't the TLPD, got him already so I'm sure I'll see the rare again! You should just make the macro listed already and spam as you are flying over an area- you might get lucky! Oh, and on the server I play on, these blues don't sell for much at all! :(
This achievement is actually easier than most people think. Instead of wasting hours on macros that you have to spam click everywhere you go in hopes that you are in the right place at the right time AND think to spam your macro for target every rarespawn, go get the addon NPC Scan. It automatically scans for ANY nearby rarespawns, flashes an animation on your screen and makes the sound of a horn. You can then click the animatimation and it will automatically target it if you are still within targetting range. The only frusteration to this is if you are on a flight path and fly over one. But it will save you weeks and alot of stress.

ive only killed 2 with out the silverdragon addon... but i hope ill find 1 here soon i have a buddy that thinks its worthless... but it acctualy will put a RW and point u to the rare AND target it for u... also makes a funny sound... its cool got it from Cuse gaming and alo.. i dont think Rare Malaen would be like a totally awsome name... how bout Malaen the Silver dragon

I killed the Crazed Indu'le Survior north of Stars Rest in Dragonblight. He wasn't hard, I'm a balance Druid, he was like 76 and I was 77 at the time, I went into Boomkin brought out the treants and he was down in seconds... he gave good gear but too low for me. I personally thought he was a part of a quest, I almost thought about leaving him, but I am extremly curious so I killed him then BAM! I got the achievment!
and just to warn u.....the reward is 15 achi points only :(
Does anyone know the addon, that shows a map of where the rares roam? I had it once but can't remember it now, npc scan works great. I just found fumblub, i flew right into him! If anyone knows that would be awesome!
theres a really helpful addon called rare spawn overlay it highlights the map different colors of where rares spawn and gives you a check box of what to show on the map i dont know if the addon is on curse.com i got it from wowmatrix but if youre rare hunting like i am then definetly get this addon

this achievement has compelled me to spend more time in sholazar than im comfortable admitting, all just to tag that stupid bird.
ive killed and seen Loque a handful of times. ive killed, seen, and even tamed Krush. but this goofy bird, ive yet to see it wild. i had a particularly annoying stretch where i hunter had tamed it and constantly set off npcscan. i had to clear the cache several times a day while this dude leveled in the basin. i practically live there anyway. camping, random fly arounds during the day, checking before i leave for work in the morning... all for 25 ach points and a mediocre (at best) thing to /flex over. i do tire of the hunter qq about killing their pets. id never kill while one was mid tame, and if someone arrived before me, id let him have it (had to do this with Loque ><) but i dont really see any more virtue in going for a cool looking pet over going for an achievement. as a hunter, i know they arent going for Loque because of the awesome dps spirit beasts put out, its all for the looks :P
The rarest is Loque my m8 spent all day finding him...he walks in a big circle on the sholazar map.
