a blood build i thought of....however because it of course requires level 80 i haven't tested its effectiveness i think that this talent is worth getting for any spec using a 2h 1h should free up the 3 points for something else because the dmg won't be worth it...like i said this is a blood spec i built with this talent if anyone can find an effective blood build that may even get all three points in this feel free to post as a reply... but after some serious though i think i freed up as many talent points as possible without effectively crippling the DMG capabilities of Blood...truthfully i would like to have a couple of the talents i left out of this build in Blood but i believe this and Necrosis are worth it and can make up for the dmg loss....of course if you prefer not to see any white dmg this talent ain't for you ok shutting up now

I actualy did make a blood spec that had all 3 points into this tallent. While I didn't leave out any dmg abilities, I did gimp my survivability quite a bit. But considering that I'm raiding now, and not lvling, I don't need the self healing quite as much as I did before.

This is the blood build. It half-asses the death rune mastery and doesn't put all 3 in Veteran. Also, the parry chance doesn't increase, but the dmg is there.

What I like most about this blood build is the ghoul you can control, as well as 3/3 in blood caked blade.

Take a gander. If I were 80, I could tell you whether it pwns or not.

This is retarded..... My copy and paste of my build gives me an error after my thottbot post...

        Is the link too long?

Nevermind, I got it to work. Good luck not getting an error message.

While I agree the damage won't be as nice in a DW build, the fact you will hit more often and thus it will proc more often would make up for this, in fact I think with the right build this could be a very nice DW dmg top-up ability.

When I had a full frost build with some talents in Unholy I toyed with getting this but instead put a few more talents into Frost instead.  With some Haste and Imp. Icy Talons my off-hand weapon speed was at 1 second swign time and my main hand was still down to 1.7s (for a 2.5s weapon i think it was or possibly even 2.7s).  This means for every 2 swings of your massive 2H weapon at a slow 3.5s or whatever it will be (say 7s combined for 2 swings) I will have hit approximately 10 times with my DW build roughly giving 3 procs (say the 30% actually happens like that) of this with my main hand weapon (assuming it is main hand damage even for this - open for corrections here if I am wrong).

That's hardly insignificant damage when you consider it may not even have proc'd on your 2H'er yet.  Personally i'd say this was much more useful on a DW build to replace lost 'Strike' damage than to a 2H build but that's just me :)

I would have to agree that this talent would be best for a DW spec.  The damage done is based on auto attacks, and your white strike dps is higher in a DW configuration.
