Finally makes getting crusader/lifestealing/etc enchants like that worrth it. You wont lvl out of a weapon in one days time so go for a good enchant. I saw a lvl 2 sword the other day with crusader. Well if that stays on when tranfered from toon to toon that would be sweet.
This does bring me to two questions. One do these weapons have enchant lvl requirements. ie Can i get a bow for my lvl 19 hunter and put a 40 crit scope on it or a sword and put mongoose on it. Two do the enchants/scopes stay on it when you transfer from a high end ( or any for that matter) alt to a lowbie.
Look up at the post above urs and click the green, says they cant be enchanted, or have anything on them with a lvl restriction (scopes, mongoose,etc) but like one guy said w/ the crusader, that enchant has no lvl restriction, So I guess you cant do BC enchants :(
Gold items aka Heirloom's
-Bought with Emblems of heroism\Stone keeper's shards. -Can be mailed to characters on the same server and account. -Can be enchanted with original wow enchants ex. crusader. -Have no durability and their stats go up as you level. -The shoulders experience bonus is applied to experience from killing mobs but not quests. -Shoulders adjust for level restricted armor type ex. plate Polished Spaulders of Valor will change into mail for a pre level 40 paladin or warrior.
What are the stats on this thing at level 19?
CAn any1 give me an idea of the kind of dmg i could expect frm this at lvl 19?
Great bow for leveling an alt. I'm leveling a hunter now and I've kept track of the stats for some levels, thought I'd share them.

If your THAT lazy and cant seem to farm heroics alot, Have no fear, blizz made Heirloom gear avaible with Stone Keeper shards. Its 200 shards for shoulders and depending on weapon, its between 200-350 for them. These shoulders are basically the same, but instead of giving crit/hit they give resilliance, perfect for your twinks. To get the shards you have to have control of Wintergrasp which is easy, youll have it for 2 and a half hours, more then enough time to run 3 heroics, and you can get about 16 shards per instance, I think they also drop in non heroics.
Anyone know the best scope you can put on this?
You can place scopes on this bow. All Heirlooms have an item level of 1, so any enchant that have no item level requirements can be placed on the Heirlooms. The scopes you will be able to place on this bow will be extremely low, like +1 damage. Could someone please check for themselves which scopes can be placed on this item. Please dont post 'Guesses' as to what scopes can be used.

How much would +1 Critical Strike Rating be worth at level 19 for a rogue? How much would +1 Hit Rating be worth at level 19?
Stats on Bow at lvl. 19 Ranged - "Charmed Ancient Bone Bow" [29-54 Dmg/2.80 Speed = 15.0DPS] +8AP, +1CRIT, +1HIT Would this bow be better than "Throat Piercers" for a level 19 Rogue? What are the exact comparisons for stats? Thanks
WARNING. Wintergrasp Heirlooms bought by Stone Keeper Shards are NOT the same as the Emblems of Heroism Heirlooms. The Wintergrasp Heirlooms have stats like resilience and stamina (not always, just an example) in replacement for some other stats.

can i send it to a character on the same account but on another server? it is called "acount bound" so,logicaly, the name should tell that this item is available across server and across faction...can anyone tell me if this is right or wrong?
Enhancing this bow:
Any scope can be put on this bow!! But there is a catch. The +40crit scope can be put on, but must be put on by a lvl 70+ toon, and the stats will not apply to players below that lvl. So, if you are using this to lvl a rogue/hunter/warrior, instead of spending the gold on the expencive scope, get one that can be used by the toon that you are lvling. The stat from the +40 crit will stay on and the bow will still be usable by lower lvl toon, but it will not affect the toon wearing the item unless they meet the requirements of the enhancement. The same goes for Heirloom shoulders, one of the patches changed it so you could still put the +stam and resil enhcance (bought with 10k honor), but since the enhancement requires lvl 70, it's stats will not apply to toons wearing the item until they hit lvl 70. All Heirloom weapons can only get PreBC chants on them, like crusader, +30sp (from molten core), +15ag to 1H and +25ag to 2H (timbermaw hold rep, honored to get both), and +15str (thorium brotherhood rep, firendly). Hope that clears up some of the misconceptions :)
From my experience of fighting twinks in battlegrounds at lower levels, this bow is far superior to other blue bows avaliable to regular players at their levels. I had a nice blue bow from Traitor Destruction quest reward; good for a lvl 19 hunter in WsG, but got totaly destroyed by a twink -- she had this bow, the heirloom shouldres and heirloom axe, more than 1k hp, and also hits very hard. With my blue bow I could fairly easily kill most rtegular players but here I was owned by her :)
Not sure if this bow is as superior to other bows/guns at high levels though (lvl > 76). E.g. how would it compare to the lvl 76 gun, Hemet's Trophy Gun, http://thottbot.com/i39486 ? edit: forgot about venomstrike, those two are about equal at lvl 19, imo. maybeybe one is a little better than the other, but not by much, i guess. Depending on the play style, if you move a lot kiting then this bow is better, if you can stand still and shoot for a while then venomstrike may be better as it procs also on multishots -- good to use when sdtanding on the roof and shooting at the crowd below in the flag room :)
