I've seen it in trade, once. The seller told me it dropped in Sartharion, 10 man.

I offered 1k and he laughed - I believe he was looking for around the 10k mark...perhaps that's not as unrealistic as it sounds this early into WotlK.

There is a badge ring that is similar, however he could prob get 2,500g + for this.  Anybody have 10K gold to spare - well more power to em.

just got this ring and in my haste I equiped an item i could replace in my regular Nax runs... so much more worth the G than the little stats I upped from a blue...

maybe a GM will have some sympathy...

Dropped in a Sarth pug I was main tanking in but as it was BOE the master-looter decided to 'free roll' it.

Some random hunter won and as he 'felt I deserved it' for tanking the instance he offered it to me for 1300g.... shocking!

One of the best tanking rings in game, such a shame its BOE and hard working tanks end up out of pocket due to greed.

agreed, fortunately i won the roll for it, dropped in 10man OS. But every off spec in there rolled, obviously to sell it.

That is pure BS i tanked OS yesterday and the ring drop and the ML did Need rolls first like is suppose to i won the ring.

I dont care if this is BOE if the tank needs it you give it to the tank that won the roll and end of story. If you want to make sure they don't sell it then you make them equip it right there. Is unfair for a tank or anyone else to work their ass off for something and then being out rolled by a guy that is going to throw it in the AH for a few Gs.

You know even though they equip it they can sell it right? i've done it several times. just ticket a gm with "I accidently equiped my XXXXX which i was going to sell" then they just send it to you as BoE in the mail.

It depends heavily on the server, I'd say. On Horde side on Alexstraza, its still easily worth 1k, and you could probably get 2k without too much trouble with some patients.  That's just the way it is, though - it doesn't take all that long for the new shinies to becomes the 'eh'.  Probably be worth a whole lot less once 3.2 comes out, since you'll be able to get the ilvl 213 tanking ring just by running some heroics.

No lie 300g is about what you can get for it these days, for two reasons. The first is more people are lvl 80, have 450 jc, or have 450 mining so the cost to make the titansteel tanking ring has plummeted.  On my server they go for an easy 800-900 gold and with a blue socket in them, they are quite desirable for a tank.  The second reason is that the boss that drops this is a joke, and can be killed with a pug raid, so its availablity has gone way up.
I had a guy give me 1000g and this ring for my [Undeath Deck] today and i just tossed it to a friend in my guild thats a 80 DK tank.
If you do not need the gold fast then id say hang on to this and try to sell it for 1500g. eventually a rich tank will come along and buy it.  If you want gold anytime in the near future id say put in on the AH for cheaper than the price the Titansteel tanking ring goes for.
