Dropped in heroic Occulus, world drop I'm guessing. Turns me into an albino gorilla in a big pink bubble. Spoke to my friendly neighbourhood GM and he says it has no use other than 'to be hilarious.'

Fun to get half of Dalaran chasing me round the streets.

Dropped off a worm inside a cave in Storm Peaks.

Dropped for me in a Hc Gundrak.
Funny and useless item :)

Yes, thottbot shows it as modifying aura, however, if something changes, like an increase in spelldamage there is a value underneath it (Example: http://thottbot.com/s39569). Here, there is no value showing.

Apart from usage of common sense this is another way of showing that there happens nothing more then you turning into a monkey.

I found this trinket on one of those mean Valkyr chicks in storm peaks.

Yeah, its pretty cool. I got my drop in Icecrown off some random mob. I'm a fury warrior and I can still DPS in gorilla form..lol

Simian means 'Higher Primates', meaning apes and humans and the rest of the thumb-wielding, hairy, frontal lobe thinkig beings in the world.

The name says it all. It's just for fun and, honestly, I think it's nice that it's a world drop and not a H run drop where it might drop from a boss in in place of an item you can actualy use.

Go nuts with it :-D

Reference to Super Monkey Ball perhaps :)

Hint: Go dalaran underbelly (slumbs) and use the underbelly elixir, having the Wisp form use this trinket, and you will be turned into the normal monkey form but with flying abilities but cancels due leaving the slumbs.

Ha! This dropped for me in the Saronite Mines at Ymirheim - both the first and funniest random epic drop i've had to date.

Gnome Rogue - using this and Killing Spree is just a new brand of awesome alltogether :D

Also of note for mages, if you use the trinket and then cast mirror image your three clones will all be monkeys too but they wont have bubbles around them

wow i just got it off a vrykul chick while doing the "off with thier black wings" quest in western storm peak im only about 2 bars from 79 so i cant even use it yet but this is like the 2nd random purple drop off a random world mob i have ever seen and i wasnt in a party so its ALL MINE =D hahaha i cant wait till 80 to use it =D

it drops off of anything in northrend....i got mine from a H VH run

Mine dropped from an Oslaught Gryphon Rider. Havn't been able to use it yet because I'm only lvl 78.

When you turn into a monkey, use a Savory Deviate Delight, mount up, then right click the pirate buff, Monkey on a mount!

Awesome! I tried to mount with it earlier and it cancelled the form. It's good to know you can do /something/ with this form considering it has no emote anims or anything.

Dropped in Normal Utgarde Pinnacle off a mob and i won!
Really fun item to have, i use it so much my guild calls me monkey boy.

I didn't even know this thing existed. Then this last Friday, it dropped twice for us in Naxx10. True story. Now I'm running around healing in tree form, as a monkey. Rockin.

Just dropped off a Stormwatcher in Sholazar while I was farming crystallized elements and doing Oracle daily. Pointless but at least it's fun.

just got it off a guardian in 25 man os, great fun... tanked sarth for 2d with it on ^__^

Dropped for me from a Mjordin Combatant in Icecrown while knocking out my dailies.

doing my dailies in storm peaks.... a strange epic item drops and there it was. ofc i was like 'wtf?' but it sure as hell is funny ;D sad its BoP though cuz i'd prolly sell pretty well on AH due to the amount of rich ppl with nothing else to do ;)

btw every1....
my theory is (not testet yet though)every mage with this sphere should use "mirror image" while being an ape... i know that if u use it while being skeleton u will get 3 skeleton m8's by ur side, so it might as well work with the monkey :D

In case you're wondering where they got the name, it's most likely a reference to the Nintendo game "Super Monkey Ball," a game where you tilt a monkey in a ball around a map to get to the end goal without falling off the edges.

Super = Super
Simian = Monkey
Sphere = Ball

It dropped in ToC 5 man hc. It dropped from the second boss,
the lady.. I also got Marrowstrike, a polearm that I needed :)
This must be my lucky day :)

Just dropped for me while doing a daily in Thunderfall in The Storm Peaks. Looks like a fun toy!

I happend to get it when i was doing a daily for Argent Tournament =D from a Dark Zealot =) 0.1% drop xD

i want that thing so bad cause i saw a druid in swift flight form flying asa monkey it looks hilarious. sadly though i'm a hunter but i can mount as an ape if i use savory deviate delight

its a useless item that takes up space in your bags...
its still fun to have though =D
