By the looks of what i saw they need to drop an explosive trap near themselves to help with the adds once they start coming for healer. Also a volley would be helpful.

Aside from that you should have a rogue in there for the sake of the high dps and fan of knives which will get all the adds and hopefully kill them or weaken them.

easiest way to do this fight,is to kite the boss all the way up the ramp to the start of the instance,by the time the snakes get there,he's pretty much toast.

What is the Archmage guardian the tank used before the boss fight.  Quest item or trinket or vendor?

the alex's addon is called Drathul's Hud or DHUD,pretty useful for pvp,an the vargoth dude is from the q in outland

you have to pull the boss in to the next room. so cler the next room and pull the boss in ther.

Heh yea i dont really get why some ppl say it's stupid and boring.And when the guys wipe at a boss that doesnt mean they suck(like in some posts from previous vids)i think they're having fun and so do we :P

Archmage Vargoth is from http://thottbot.com/q10174 is a quest in Netherstorm - you can do the quest chain all the way up to the last part but if you turn in the last part you lose the quest item that summons the Archmages image.  You can't drop the quest either or it will delete the quest item... so must keep the quest in your quest log perpetually I guess.  He is summonable anywhere, arenas, boss fights, raids, on any continent,doesn't matter, of course he is friendly to everyone and will not fight for you or anything.  The summon is for quest turn ins as (according to the quest) he is unable to leave some tower in Netherstorm.

Edit - I found out that after assembling the staff (first 2 quests in chain) you are given a quest to summon Vargoth, summon him, turn in quest, but do NOT accept new quest and you will be able to keep the staff that summons him without having the quest chain in your quest log.

if u do this without going all the way up to the top i'd say it is one of the hardest heroic bosses. On a different note, anyone know when 3.1 is suppost to be out by? i keep getting excited on tuesdays and not even sure if it is even close to the date

whats the add on that shows the damage in the front of the screen? and great episode you guys rule!

since they are undergeared and are having toubles with the adds they should clear the second boss first then have there tank and healer come and drag that snake boss to the 2nd bosses spot. this would get rid of there wrap problem and makes this boss WAY easier : ) just a note of advice

it would be smart if one hunter dropt a volly on the adds... and an explosive trap on the stairs by both hunters.

this is a tough boss and they got farther than many pugs i have been in have gotten on him, good job, glad to see some 80 stuff (oh plz do like arch or OS next =DD)
