    First comment?
This spell is useful in my personal opinion but the conditions to use it under seems VERY situational. Like... If you are grinding and wanna level that scorpid or whatever pet you have for pvp and you just got done raiding with a kitty. Going ALL the way back to a stable master is just such a let down and throws a wrench into the works.

    Just my opinion however...

i think it's kinda cool cause if u forget to get a pet for an instance or something it would come in handy.

    Great spell, very useful if;

You was level 25 and needed to switch pets and you didnt want to walk all the way back to a town to change pets.  This spell should not be a level 80 spell.  Should be given to you at level 10 with Tame Beast.

Or maybe the point is to reward higher level players with a convenient way to swap out pets. The stable masters are there for a reason, and this spell was not designed to make levelling easier for you newbies. For God's sake, they reduced the exp by a huge amount, quests give you more exp, you get mounts at 20 come 3.2, recruit a friend gives you huge exp, what else do you want? We all had to do it the hard way.

This. Noobs are so spoiled nowadays. When I was a noob we had to walk everywhere until level 40, tame a new pet every time we wanted to teach our current one a new rank of skill, and every time you tamed a pet it tamed at its current level--none of this "magically jumping up to 5 levels below you". Level 35 Night Elf decides to go grab Humar? Have fun with your new level 23 kitty and try not to get ganked running on foot back to Ashenvale.

OMG LOLZ TEH GAEM IS 2 HARD! No. It isn't. You're just too lazy. That's right, I said it.

So what?  I had to do it the hard way too, but I don't begrudge new players who want this spell earlier.  It's a good spell!  If I could have had it at 20 on my hunter I would've appreciated it too.

What's worse than new players who want the game made easier are older players who act like jerks because they feel that their /played time entitles them to criticize people who are leveling up now.  I've been playing this game for years - raiding and PVPing since vanilla - and I'll take a casual "noob" over a loudmouth elitist any day of the week.  I hope they make this game so casual-friendly that all the self-proclaimed "hardcore" players leave, because all you do is act like creeps and give the WoW community a bad name.

At level 80, you switch pets for 3 reasons.
    1) You're going into PvP, and you don't have your PvP pet
    2) You're going into a raid, and don't have your raid pet
    3) You're going to solo an instance, and don't have your tank pet

    1) When you go into a BG/Arena, you're already in a capital city.
    2) When you go into a raid, this MIGHT be useful if it's spur of the moment, but raids usually have tedious hours of wait time beforehand.
    3) I mean REALLY. How often are you gonna do this?

When you're leveling, you replace pets all the time for instances, soloing, finding new pets to tame, etc. Blizz really miscalled this one.

Ever heard of world PvP? I know a hunter who's dual spec is BM/Marks. When he switches specs, he wouldn't have an exotic pet as BM or he wouldn't have a pet as Marks. It's really helpful, but yeah. Entirely situational. Most things Blizzard adds are.

ya im a 80 hunter (not a huntard) and im BM and marks its relly useful when your switching specs cuz if you do not switch pets first it will delete the exotic one :(

Hello, Huntard. Your pet is not "deleted" swen switching specs. I go from BM to Surv and I lose access to my current exotic pet, but when I switch back to BM my pet is still there when I call it.

I find it quite useful for taming pets that interest me that i find, (leave 1-2 spaces open in the stables and stable ur pet when u find a pet that u might like) tame it check it out and if u dont like it abandon it and either go to the nearest city or wait for the cd and ur good 2 go <3
(i was able 2 tame that spirt cat like this) i tamed him 2 fast 2 evens see his name lol)

ht eonly thing i would find it usefull for is if you can change specs by buying from the trainer.  Then you can change in beast mastery and survival the exotic pet or regular pet.

The 30 mins CD is irrelevant if you have duel spec.

Just switching spec resets the CD on this ability, meaning you can effectively summon any pet you like at any time.

What makes this spell great is the ability to summon any one of you're fav stabled pets. What sucks is waiting till 80 for an ability that seems like it's better suited as an inherent or a lvl 40 spell. Either way, waiting till 80 is kind of sad considering the potential of this skill. This could even be a tree talent.

It's getting nerfed to 5 mins.  Still for lvl 80's.

We really don't need these "old school" players complaining about how they got rare mounts at lvl 40 and shit.  The game has been changed, so live with it.  It can't be changed, Blizzard has spoken.  If you can't handle such a simple little thing, then stop playing the game so more people can enjoy it.
