    KK info on stats
    Strength + 413

    Samina + 1,123 (11,230HP!)

    Critical strike rating + 340 (idk how much it is in %)

    Resilience + 760!

    Armor + 12,008

    This is a great prelevel 80 set for all DKs ( in my opinion the best) definitely worth it.

    Very nice set for DKs, Ret Pallies, or Warriors. Just made the whole set for my Pally for when he hits 78, Farmed all the mats myself. Also enchanted it all and put gem sockets the bracers, gloves, and belt with +18 Str gems.

      This set would be good for both PVP and PVE to get you to 80. You'll be able to straight into heroics at 80 to start replacing PVE gear and do well enough in battlegrounds to get Honor Points and Mark of Honors to replace PVP gear.

    Just got this for my DK at lvl 78
    Anyone with mining as one of their professions should be able to pick up enough mats during the leveling process to make this set, and it's 100% worth it. I now crit more often and for a good 1000 extra damage!
    Not to mention all the extra health and armor I now have

    I use it for my prot pali. nice tanking gear too. im right around 22k armor with the set

    This is not a tanking set.  This is a pvp set because it offers resilience and crit.  If it was meant for pve then it would have hit on it.  If you wanted a tanking set just make the tempered saronite set

      It's fine for tanking, much better than most peices of Tempered because some pieces of Tempered have an incredibly low item level compared to this, simply causing the large amounts of resilience and stam to be better, and the crit is alright for threat. Of course, you won't keep any of this gear for very long time; you'll soon upgrade to PvE gear for either dps or tanking from heroics or normals.

    I am making this for my budy and for a sec. I thought he may not be satisfied with it, but after see'n the coments here a the set details, I think he will love it.

    Like someone else said, this is NOT a tanking set.  The resil is clearly for PVP... and that said, it's a GREAT PVP set.

    I'm prot pally atm, 75.  Gonna grab this asap after 78, then pvp level to 79, do some 80 instances to get to 80.  After that, straight to heroics... with different gear of course. :)

    I am not fully skilled in my armorsmith abilities yet but does anyone know when and where I am able to learn to craft this item?  Is each piece a drop or do I learn them all somewhere from someone different.

    All 8 pieces of this set, as well as the Ornate Saronite Battlegear, are learned from the blacksmith trainer at skills 420 and 425.
