This is kindof the Shattered Sun Offensive of Wrath of the lich king.

The questing begins at level 77 in northeastern icecrown. at the northwest corner of the area lies the argent crusader's tent. you shall recieve a quest from a woman at the fron that tells you to go to your kirin tor faction's tent (silver covenant for alliance, Sunreavers for horde.) once you complete this quest, you recieve the achievement Argent Aspiration. After you have earned it, u have a quest that involves training to become a jouster. once u have completed this quest, you are given a quest called The Aspirants Trial, in which you have to do the following dailies until you recieve 15 of their rewards:

Testing your skills: a repeat of the jousting quests.
An Aspirant's Field Training: kill 8 scourge within icecrown.
A worthy weapon: you must do a small task in order to obtain a required quest item, such as kiss a frog so one of them shall give u the item. (there are additional ones that are the same thing, but just under a different title, I.E. A blade fit for a champion.

The rewards for all of these quests are Aspirants seals. You must collect 15 seals, which should take about 3 days to get. Once you have completed the quest, you must face off against an argent vailant. once you win, u earn the achievement Argent Valiant, and unlock the right to begin questing for your home city for rep, gear, and mounts. In order to become a champion of your city, you must do A Valiants Trial, where you must collect 25 vailiants seals. Estimated time to complete the quest is 5 days WITH a flying mount. here are the dailies for valiants:

Training in the field: kill 10 converted heroes in the valley of lost heroes.
The Grand melee: jousting against an NPC.
At the enemie's gate: jousting against scourge NPCs
same weapon quests as aspirants.

once you have done all the dailies enough to the point that you are exalted with the city, you earn the title

for me, it would be Linranis of Stormwind. anyway, you can then become champions of other alliance/horde factions, and complete other dailies.

Additional info: when you begin training as a vailiant, you can obtain a quest from the argent pavilion called either
The Black Knight of Westfall? or The Black Knight of Silverpine? depending on whether you are horde or alliance. completeing the quest chain will earn you additinal dailies and the achievement "Its Just A Flesh Wound", which i was proud of blizzard for making. Monty Python for the win.

EDIT: im sorry that i left out some stuff to this. when you complete the quest for killing the black knight, you get a quest that tells you that cultists of the damned are trying to resurrect him. you then earn the right to complete the following dailies from either argent champions or knights of the ebon blade depending on whether you are a death knight or not. the quests are the same, just that you get different reputation gains depending on who you do dailies for. I also left out the champion dailies:

Threat from above: you have been asked to kill a blue dragon and a few cultists that surround it. group quest.

Battle before the citadel: similar to A Valiants Field Training, except against more powerful mobs. easier if done in a group.
The champions charge: joust against faction champions.
A champions field training: kill 15 members of the cult of the damned.
