The 'y' in the /wyrm/ does NOT make the word sound like wime or why-urm. In fact, there is probably no word in the English language that uses the exact sound that 'y' indicates. A sound sample of the vowel in question is available here:

and does not sound like a "long" I or Y.

the achievement can be done i watched this druid do it once then this warlock on Lightinghoof pvprp server. the druid as soon as they got outside changed into travel form quickly ran over to the drake you got to mount quickly then did the far part of quest and killed the mobs along the way and the warlock did the same thing as druid did but used rocket boots. i might be able to do it as shaman with reduction of ghost wolf cast time.

Check with anyone. The first guy was right, although rather than correcting someone who is also correcting someone that someone will no doubt be correcting you. Put your time to some better use like uh...Farming rep for wyrmrest!
I got the achievement for doing this quest yesterday.
What u need to do is first start off by flying straight to the giant purple beam to destabalize it. Then once u have done that, start looking for dragons/drakes, use immolate and fireball. You may continue moving while casting fireball and you dont even need to be facing what ever it is you are attacking, it also helps to attack the ones that are already damaged from they npc wyrmrest drakes.

I got the achievement for this accidentally. It's pretty easy to do it quickly.

This achievement is now easily soloable. As of patch 3.2?, it is now 3 minutes which you must accomplish the quest. I just did it with 30 seconds remaining.
This achievement Rapid Defense has been nerfed now, and is now under 3 minutes to complete it. I disagree with it, it should still be 2 minutes because it is difficult, and should remain challenging. I did this when it was still 2 minutes, and I felt really chuffed with myself. Here is a basic run-down of how i did it.
1 - Go to the quest giver, and make sure you're just in range to speak with him.
2 - the Timer starts as soon as you accept the quest, and ends when you complete it. When you click 'accept', run as fast as you can, use sprint or nitro boost or dash or any speed increasing abilities. Get to the drake on the left side as fast as you can without mounting.
3 - Use the speed boost and fly to the Azure Dragonshrine as fast as you can, and use the ability to disrupt it.
4 - from there, the regular drakes will die in 2 hits, use the fireball ability and the CoT, and then move on. The dragons require 2 or 3 of these rotations, but best to keep fireballing as they have a lot more health than the drakes.
5 - finish as close to the platform as possible. Dismount next to the quest giver and hand in.
If you fail it, simply abandon the quest and start again.

I always thought that shaman was with a long a. I have never heard an "r" in it as in "Sharman"
The reason there's no many complaints about his speech is well, because Dorkins is probably the least likable of this entire bunch, so people are just subconsciously looking for a way to criticize him.
i've done rapid defense on my lock here's how i did it :
1. run straight to the wyrmest defender and mount it
2. go destabilize
3. use sprint and try to find drakes or dragons with low health
4. immolate and fireball ur targets
5. as soon as u finish with all of them go finish the quest as fast as u can
/stop watching show after 3 crap episodes and a week between them
and here I thought it was pronounced werm oh well.
Sharmen is paper you use on the john... Shah - men is the correct wasy of pronouncing it.

I got the achivement, but its alot easier since its been changed to 3 minutes.
I am really kinda disappointed with Project Lore, they haven't had ANY new episodes forever now and in BC they would have episodes like every week. I keep going on thottbot and checking up on them, but they haven't made anything new /sigh

this guy is slow at doing it, that's why he isn't able to do it... he needs to do it faster and attack like 4 at a time, but u ussually try and kill the ones with real low health already, its not extremely hard, but its doable

I love project lore and stuff but come on, i hate DOING dailies, watching someone else do them is no fun for me. I really wish you guys would have some new content vidoes or something ToC has been out for a bit people are getting T9. Lets see some of THAT or at least some Ulduar.

^^ i love the project lore series and i think i watched all the episodes upto the dailys, to be honest after doing dailys i dont want to watch another guy do them /puke.
i loved the heroic and normal instances they did in TBC and some of WoTLK even tho it was easy,it was still good times.

im sure they will make a grand comeback or i hope they do.

Props to Dorkins for trying to keep it together also with the daily show,it was a good effort.
Well basicly what i did to get the achievement i practiced it many times until i got it under two minutes.
How i did it? Simple i just abandoned the quest and tried again and again and i got it on 1 min and 55 seconds i was really close but i did it, hope this info is usefull

I think thott and project lore broke up or something. Because project lore is not at all dead, their new videos just arent being posted for some reason. They did this big DM thing on their low level hordies, u can find it at their website, www.projectlore.com Blame thott, not PL.
actually the VC one has been out since way before the wyrmrest accord dailies (which are pronounced wormrest btw).
Project lore has been pumping reruns; they said they were running ulduar but its wayyy past then, no one will run it anymore and it'll be worth nothing.

Oh and the achieve is Easy, fireball while running around in blzaing. aggro like 10 and fight em close to the temple to if u die, u can hop right back up.

Hell, sounds like a good episode. I come here only on patch nights or tue mornings during fixes. If I still want my personal fix of wow I dont mind seeing these videos. Would be funny to see there reaction to a vein stealer. Wondering around the basin can be fun. I enjoy killing the the cat that bm hunters want if enemy is near. Asshole I know.
