Has a VERY rare chance to drop from Onyxia. im not sure if it drops from 10 or 25 man. this mount is kinda like the rare mount Ashes of A'lar(<310% phoenix mount)that dropped from TK, think of the Onyxain drake as the WOTLK version of Ashes of A'alr, and according to patch 3.2.2 notes the mount gose 310% fast, if anyone has any screen shots submit them!!! =D 

It says BoP so he couldnt have sold it just used it. I would personally never do a raid with a master looter other than my or another respectable guilds GM.

Here's my friend's story:
(I decided to tell it myself, since she is too busy sleeping.)

One fine day, after hours of waiting to finish Ony 25 man, the Onyxian Drake drops... Our PUG group is in awe. It was a server first. After a couple seconds of orgasm, our group decides that everyone has to roll need. (Yes, it was on Group loot... sadly) They didn't say that only people who can actually use it can need... So seconds after, the winner comes out. Quantumhawk<InsaneAsylum> wins the FIRST Ony on the windrunner server! It was awesome. (mainly because Horde on our server fails epically, and have practically no "server first" feats of strength at all....) So the raid disbands and they all hearth to Dalaran. As they arrive at Krasus landing, and wait for a couple minuites, we find out that Quantumhawk didn't even have the training! We were pissed. We announced on trade, and they got pissed.. Guess whats worse. He sold the drake to his guild master, Drakkorz<InsaneAsylum>(Not really sure if it was him, but I know he said on trade that he offered to buy it, and prolly got it) for 4000g.. Yes, a measly 4000g. Being a server first, that'd easily sell for 10-20k gold. Guess what's even worse... We don't even think the guy who got it had the training...

It dropped for our Guild last night.  It was a realm first of course.  It dropped off 10 man mode, just an FYI.

I won mine last night in a 10 man. They saved the mount roll for last and I had lost every previous roll even with some 90's.  Rolled a 96 and won the mount - Whoot! 

It is a 310% mount and there is no achievement for being the server first as I'm the first one to get it on Lightninghoof.

Guess only time will tell who is right about it. And no, Ashes of Al'ar got it's feat of str. as soon as the achievements system came into place, a couple weeks before the November release of patch 3.0.2 when WOTLK came out.

You can't PUG this then QQ if the mount gets taken by the ML. PUGs are not to be trusted these days (in my opinion anyway).

I'm not condoning it but when you're ML in a group with a bunch of randomers you're not familiar with it makes it that much more tempting.

GMs will NOT to anything about loot ninjas.
It's not that they don't want to it's just there isn't really a way to deal with it properly because different raids can have different rules on who gets what loot, they have no way of knowing for sure. The guy writing the ticket could be just some whingebag who's jealous that he didn't win something.
(One I particularly hate and have seen being used as an excuse to ninja stuff is the "Must have over X amount of DPS to get loot".)

One example would be say you and a bunch of friends could consent over ventrilo that if a certain item drops this guy will get it. Then it drops, he gets it and someone QQs off to a GM saying it was stolen and he won the roll. GM deletes item from guys inventory and gives to the QQer. The guy who got the item cannot prove.

There isn't really a solution, you just have to be careful with who you raid with.

One idea is to keep it on Need/Greed rather than Master Looter so if the mount does drop everyone can roll need for it. Problem there is the other loot could be ninja'ed by people in the raid who just want it for vendor spec.

Just got mine tonight! 25 man rolled and tied with 91.... roll off..me 76.. competitor 74 :) Duwid horde side on Bloodhoof, not sure how many that are out there now

So, this dropped for me about 40mins ago. Sadly no one thought that this was going to drop so, we left it on master loot. When this drops all that I can think to myself is, "He's going to ninja it." Low and behold, he did. So put in a ticket. I don't really care if I get it. I just don't want him to get it.

P.S.- the guys name was Emceecasper on the server Crushridge. He is horde

Got this mount last night in 10man Onyxia. Rolled a 97  to beat a 92 by another guildie. Didn't even realise it was 310% speed until I started flying around. Will post a pic soon :-)

got it last week, rolled a 96. first time doing ony10, guild raid.

badass mount... everyone in the raid had a good laugh though when i told them the guy who came in 2nd was asking me in /tell me to sell it to him for just 1.2k gold.

i hate how people who have gotten this mount are saying wOOt sever 1st. theres no FoS for being the sever 1st to get this mount, besides if you get the mount how do you know your the sever 1st?? its very possible that you might be the sever 1st but if you dont know for sure then theres no point in lie-ing

If it's the same drop rate as Al'ar, then how come I've seen almost 4 people on my server with it? >.< Haven't seen it drop yet either, but that's just my luck. Good luck to all you other mount farmers trying to get this out there! Though I must say its head looks somewhat deformed..

If an ML ninja's it and you want them punished, just pass the message on about them being a loot ninja. Unless they transfer servers they'll eventually be chucked out of any raids, guilds and hc's they try to get into if enough people hate them.
