Tried 2 solo him with my 70 hunter, got him 2 65% and i wiped.
He hits like a truck.

The other day my guild tanked Hogger into Stormwind. We had a prot warrior tanking with everyone else just healing, he's so hard. Just past the gates he killed the tank and wiped the whole raid with a knockback that sent people as far away as Redridge. Anyway, Hogger one-shotted every guard and every player. He eventually made his way to Fordragon and epicly pwned him. The Alliance was in chaos for hours before the server crashed. A GM was quite pissed with us. I'm surprised we got off without any real punishment.

Kilrogg US

On my 59 warr i was bored and i thought that hogger was only as strong as a normal 11 elite but when i went to kill him he charged at me, critted 234k, and did some new spell from the last patch called "Knockback of Account Deletion" So now my account is deleted. I w ouldnt suggest killing him until someone gets blizzard to delete that spell, unless ur sick of the game.

Kited him to Kara and he soloed it for me true story.

The Plan.

1 Druid (for buffs & hots)
1 Priest
1 warlock
2 rouges
1 prot paladin /warrior
3 mages.


All these chars need to have at least teir 2 if not tier 3. Other wise they will be OOM with in seconds of the fight. Buffs up & make SS for priest. Tank better be prot ur ur all guna die.

Phase 1;

Hav the tank charge in and slunder or try and keep aggro much as possible. After 3 slunder you can do dmage it it. But dont over aggro, if you over aggro you lose 50 dkp coz u didnt know wtf to do! and watch the tail! If you get kicked into the mobs you lose 50dkp for not being there ur spose to be. There is no aggro reset, only way you use aggro if by useing ur aggro lessend abiltys. Get him down as fast as possible. Do NOT over dps.

Phase2;

Slow dps right dowqn, keep tank hold of aggro while casters (warloks pref) slowly eat away at his hp. Make ur ur got mana pots at the ready for the phase 3:

Ok here you wna all out nuke him. Be carful of not loseing aggro but wat eva the funk u do dont stand next to other people. Have rogues works there blades hard as possible. Have dots up every time, 2 rows, shadow waord pain, cures, rend..lots of dots. At 5% you will stop dots and do direct damage, shadow bolt, frost bolt, wrath, mindblast, execute, hammer of wrath, anything to bring him down has hard as possible.


Loot: If your lucky u should get some spring water and about 40 copper, roll on the water and gratz to the lucky guy who wins it.

The Great Sundering of Kalimdor was actually caused by an epic battle between Hogger and Mankrik's Wife. Hogger won.

Each hit from hogger lowers your durability by 25% so bring extra gear incase ur weapons break
-Also hogger is weird cus u keep agro through death, so soon as u rez he'll run over and uber pwn u.
at 50% and 25% he summons 2 lvl 72 elite deathhogs similar to him with lower hp
At 25% he starts using execute, hits 4 50k-75k

Illidan has not appeared yet because he is hiding from Hogger.

Hogger - The True Lord of the Burning Legion, the Scourge, the Dragonflights, the Horde, the Alliance and the Defias Brotherhood.

Hogger is actually the lord of all things, even the master of the Old Gods, and he is killable. He appears in a small area south of Westbrook Garrison in Elwynn Forest, Eastern Kingdoms. Here is his stats and attacks:

Lord Size: Grows to 500 meters, when in this giant form hes melee attacks have a knockback effect that sends people away to Deathkneel in Tirisfal Glades.

Blades of Light: Make a Whirlwind that hits people in melee range for 20 000 Holy dmg.

Jolt Cola: Drinks a Jolt Cola which make him immune to all debuffs exept Curse of Reckleness.

Summon Lords: Summons Arthas the Lich King, Sargeas, Thrall, Jaina Proudmoore, deathwing, Alextraza, Malygos, Nordurmzu, Ysera and Edwin VanCleef.

Realm Pwnage: Eleminates all life on all US realms, making them vulnerable to Trogg Invasions.

Trogg Invasion: Causes a invasion of Troggs with 1000 troggs on Ironforge, Stormwind or Darnassus.

Battlefield: Teleports himself and the raid groups to random battlefields. The battlefields are Shadow Glen, Jaedenar, Razor Hill, Stonemaul Ruins, Legion Hold, Icecrown Citadel and Ogri'la.

Glitch: Hogger gets bugged and Evade every attack and run back to his original location and heals to 100% HP.

Every night when Chuck Norris goes to sleep, he checks his closet for Hogger.

Wow.  I laughed at all of these comments, and just for fun, told all 78 members of my guild to log on tonight to go find him.  After epically slaying every alliance on the way, I saw him.  Looked like a light-weight enemy.  I laughed and decided I'd let my new mage attack him.  As soon as my mage started a'chargin' his fireball, Hogger charged him and hit him so hard, he was kicked out of my guild.  I was astonished.  I began to spam heal our MT.  He told me that he received the message, "Hogger ignores your taunt, knowing he is superior".  I suppose that was his way of saying he's Taunt Resistant. 

Anyway, a few minutes later and 60 guild members less, it was myself, several locks and our bear-tank.  Hogger suddenly disarmed the bear's claws, feared the locks so hard, they're still unable to control their characters, and suddenly, he looked at me and laughed.  He pointed, snapped his fingers, and I was disconnected.

As I typed my login information in, I connected.  To my amazement, my character was gone.  I tried again the next day, no luck.  I logged in with an alt and put in a ticket to the GM's, saying that my character was erased.  When the GM got to me he said, "No Kurtis, he wasn't deleted.  Hogger killed him."  Apparently there's nothing Blizzard can do.

OK, so we just had our second attempt on Hogger, and this time we banded all of our horde forces with the alliance forces to take out this menace once and for all.  Our unstoppable army (lol funny enough someone had the Unstoppable Force equipped) was stationed across the river from Hogger, almost ready to fight.  Nearly the entire realm participated in this fateful event that would forever change Azeroth, but before we were able to give the command to charge, we heard one thing:

LEEEROOOOOOOOOOOOYYYYYYY mmmmJEEEENNNNKIIINNNNSSSS!!!!!

and we knew it was all over...

I was in goldshire when the halloween festival thing was about on my lvl 70 warrior, waiting for the headless horseman to arrive when somone yelled "Need help with quest to kill hogger!!111!" So being bored i headed on over there, only to find 2 40 man raids trying to take him down. Then we heard the horse man yell and with much much difficulty they kited him to goldshire in time for the horsemans attack.

Huge mistake.

He took down the horse man with one hit and everyone cheered until he did some ultra powerfull AOE called 'Rain of Hogger'
wich caused thousands of gnolls to fall from the sky and explode causing 465k instant damage and leaving a debuff on through death called 'hoggers bitch' which reduces all stats by 60% and lasts one year of game play hours. So i ran back to goldshire in ghost form only to find that hogger had burned down the buildings himself. I whispered to as many people as possible to tell them to all res at the same time to try and take him by surprise. We resed and he imediatly charged straight at me, i had 12 healers on me alone and aswell as hundreds of others attacking him we managed to get him down to 94%. Then he did a knockback that landed me in undercity and caused me to explode on impact. It was so intence that i turned to my sister who was watching, only to find that her eyes had popped and half her faced had melted off. The next day, after burrying my sister, i found both my gradparents dead in my front yard, with paw marks all down their bodies.

Hogger is not to be underestimated.

Some low level asked for help in General Chat, so I rode over to go help him.

He unzipped and revealed himself as Hogger.

OMFG! I just heard the most unreal story that is untoppable! WARNING reading this may cause you to become in a state of vegetation and u may never be able to play WoW again..

So i was running around nagrand farming adamantite and such, when suddenly i see a /1 saying "HOGGER'S JUST BEEN KILLED!" i laughed and continued on my business while these other noobs just fed into it like it was real. not 20 seconds later i see my guild chat and notice the line "...this is just bullshit.. i don't believe it, i WON'T believe it.." coming from a member that's known for his seriousness of the game. so i say "what's wrong?" he says "i just watched a lvl 13 lock take down hogger..." "ya ok" i said, to see "DUDE IM NOT JOKING YOU NUMNUTS COME HERE AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!" so i say fine w/e and i hearth, port to stormwind only to see hundred of people mounting up outside and running towards westfall. so i slap on my riding crop, mithril spurs, and carrot to get there quick only to find myself lagging out BADLY! when i pull up i see a crowd north of where hogger normally is, the crowd numbered in thousands of alliance and horde alike, but noone was attacking anyone.

Then i see it.. the corpse of Hogger! >.< It turns out some honest to goodness noob, lvl 13 gnome warlock had just killed hogger. i know right? unbelievable. so what had happened was the lock aparently was taken into questioning by a Senior GM and some members of the blizzard programming staff, they found in his possesion a refreshing spring water, which they immediately deleted from his bags knowing he obviously cheated somehow.

Anyways this "gnome" was questioned for about 2 hours before they realized the owner of the account was Chuck Norris. they immediately let him go, apologized, asking him very politely not to use his godly powers in the presence of other players anymore, and offered him his own live server in which he could be a GM, he turned them down and still wanders elwynn forest looking for the corpse of hogger to eat, and take his loot back from.

100% true story.

For any lvl 70s who are planing to solo him, here's a strategy:

First make sure that you bring lots of potions, make lots of bandages, written a will, and tell your family that they may never see you again.

Next, run to his area.

Then when you see him, after the fabric of reality becomes torn apart and you begin to question everything you have ever known, push alt+F4, log onto the WoW website, cancel your account, and pray he doesn't know where you live.

As of 2.4 they increased his total health, armor, damage, crit chance, and gave him an AoE arcane attack.  This is absolutely impossible without a premade 25 man raid.  Any PuG's and you are screwed.  This is how I was able to somehow miraculously do it.

5 Warlocks...
3 Prot Warrios...
2 Prot Pallys...
7 Mages...
8 Healers...

Step 1>  First off you need to buff up, share quests, be Black Temple attuned, and buy any food that adds +stam if you are a tank or off tank.  Make sure you all freshly buff up before fighting.  The next step will require not only luck and skill, but proper timing.

Step 2>  From the wanted poster is where you want to start.  Take out all the trash,  because just like ST, if you don't take them ALL out then they attack you when you attack Hogger. I found that taking them out 2-3 at a time was the best way to do it, any more and then you will be at risk of wiping.

Step 3>  Now that all the trash mob is gone, you can start focusing on Hogger himself.  Calm your breathing, this can be very traumatic.  Send in all tanks at once, be sure that the warriors stack sunder, if anyone but the tanks engage Hogger before there is full sunder, then you're going to get skull-f*cked.  You definitely want your healers to be paladins with somewhere around +2000 healing.

Step 4>  Start off DPSing very slowly, and when I say slow I mean f*cking slow!  Once he gets to 80%, which is about 20-30 minutes in, he preforms AoE, so you want to move all your tanks out of his AoE range (30 yards) and leave one behind to be the victum of his 130k Arcane Explosion.  Be sure to have SS on the sacrificing OT, or else your not going to be able to last.

Step 5>  After AoEing that OT, at 70% he tries to heal himself, DO NOT LET HIM HEAL HIMSELF!  Only when he is healing is he susceptible to fear, stun, and disorient effects.  Try to Stun him with any stun moves you have and use those precious seconds to unload DPS like there is no tomorrow.  Also, healers and mages should re-buff everyone.

Step 6>  This is the real ball-buster that requires that skill I was talking about earlier.  After failing to heal himself he will eventually give up, and return to normality.  This is when you want to start kiting him with the 5 warlocks.  Make circles around any nearby tree, being sure to keep him more than 180 degrees behind you, or he could go the other way and attack you from behind, daze you, and rape your face in.  Repeat this with each of the warlocks until they are OOM.  I recommend kiting because during this time he has a buff that adds 10% to his crit chance and doubles his attack speed, which can own any tank.

Step 7>  If you haven't wiped in the following 2 hours and 30 minutes then congratulate yourself.  By now he is at 50% health, and the worst part is over.  Now just keep on fighting like you always do.

Step 8>  At 20%, he will stun all party members and call upon a Murlock who will come in and fight beside him, both of the OTs and 2 of the Healers with 1 mage go off and fight him, he is easily 5 manned.  During this time, Hogger and the Murlock will share thier damage, meaning if you hit him for 1000, they will each take 500 damage only.  When the murlock dies, Hogger receives a buff that reduces his damage dealt by 25% and his armor reduced by 50%, this is a huge chance that you MUST seize. This buff only lasts 2 minutes, but during this time you must be sure that he doesn't draw aggro to your DPSers.

Step 9>  You should have him around 5% now, which means he is near death.  Nothing special happens now, but he will try and heal himself every minute, just as before he becomes a target for stun, fear, and disorient effects during the 3 second cast time.  When he hits 1%, get anyone within 20 yards away from him and stun him.  Then unload DPS with mages and warlocks.  Pallys can use Holy Shock and Hammer of Wrath if they have enough mana.  When he dies, if you can kill him, his blood will spurt everywhere dealing 2% of base health over 90 seconds to anyone within that 20 yard radias.  This debuff cannot be disbuffed.  You can heal it off but the chances of ANYONE having enough mana to make up for it is 0.

The Aftermath:
Well, congratulations!  You downed Hogger!  It probably took you 7-10 days of preparation, 4 complete wipes, and over 230g in repairs, but you did it!  Loot the 12 copper, and roll on the Water and Linen, grats to whoever get the Cadet Boots!

Guys, it's true. Hogger is no longer killable. With the recent patch, Blizz has decided to give him an aggro range of 2 miles. As soon as you step outside of Stormwind, he shoots you, doing a oneshot kill.

Then he finds your girlfriend and makes her break up with you. He then impregnates her, and then dumps her, making her take both you and hogger on the Maury show to see who's the baby's daddy.

Just poke him in his eye
Then get a lvl 70 Holy Char (preferably Jesus) and try and kill him
You may want Jesus to equip Holy Nuke of Stamina to get him down to 3/4 health.

If this doesn't work then yank his balls.

Ok, my guild just downed him today after we killed M'uru.

Phase 1
Ok, Hogger has a 500yd aggro radius so dont get too close to him. Once your ready send the tank in straight away (recommended no less than tier 6 gear). Phase 1 really is tank and spank, but watch out for the gnoll adds he lets leash around him. They go straight for the healers so assign a mage or a hunter to kill them while the rest of the DPS slowly builds up on Hogger. At about 80% hp Hogger levitates into the air and spawns Illidan, Sargeras and The Lich King. A warlock could probably solo them. Once all three mini bosses are defeated, Phase 2 begins.

Abilities in phase 1:

~200K HP
Melee attacks that hit for ~2K on a plate-wearer.
Shadow Bolt Volley: Deals 850 to 1150 shadow damage to all raid members within 30 yards, and places a stackable debuff that increases all shadow damage taken by 750.
Gnoll Portal: Opens a portal that periodically causes gnolls to spawn; these dudes will run towards nearby raid members and attack them using aoe, dealing significant damage to all nearby characters. The imps have extremely low health, and can be killed with a single instant cast spell (Ice Lance, Shadowburn, Shadow Word: Death); however, dying causes them to explode.

Phase 2
Ok Hoggers at about 75% hp now, well done for getting this far. More of the same except hogger will cast fireballs to random raid members which hit for 10k. Make sure the tank has aggro and instantly heal those affected by the sick fireballs.
Once hes at 50%hp he yet again levitates into the air and summons Chuck Norris. This time Chuck Norris spawns, this is where most raids wipe. Chuck Norris abilities: Roundhouse Kick: Instantly deals 10k damage to all humanoids within 50 yards. Beard Fist: Instantly hits the tank for about 5k damage. When chuck Norris is at 99% which takes about 30 minutes to do, he roundhouse kicks everyone this time with added knockback eeffect, laughs and runs away.

Phase 3
At this point, Hogger gains several new abilities:

Duplicate: Instantly duplicates a random party member, and has him/her attack the raid. Each attack that hits the duplicated member will also deal damage to the real member, so its probably best to keep him alive. Fear effects will have no bearance on the real member, so keep the duplicated member feared.
The Can Can: Hoger bursts into a moulin Rouge style dance, instantly attacking the tank with huge knockback effects (30 - 40yds). It is vital to stand next to something solid like a tree.
Once you have Hogger at about 10% he bubbles and instantly heals himself. He then hearths. While hearthing he drops a chest with your rewards, usually a crappy grey or green.

Congratulations! You've (sorta) defeated Hogger!
