If you abondon the quest, then get it again and run to the south exit, she will be walking along the road.  Thanks for the tip

So What I did was pull the group with a lightning bolt, using the courier (not body gaurds) and began to run, I dropped a earthbind totem to aoe slow them.  I turned around and put flame shock (fire dot) on the courier. Kept running. Eventually the  guards get bored for you and you will only have the courier. Which is simple as pie to kill solo :)

If you want to kill this guy - just follow him out of the Witherbark Village until his crew runs into the Alliance Cavalrymen that walk the roads. They'll attack his bodyguards.
Target the courier as you're following. As soon as the bodyguards get into a fight with the cavalry, shoot the courier. He'll run over and fight you. The cavalry will finish off the 4 body guards

I got ambushed and killed by these jerkoffs.  I'm not even on this quest >:(

It doesn't work to abandon and take it again, the group won't spawn anyway.

I used Distract on the entire group as they walked past. Two of the bodyguards resisted it, but the courier and the other two guards stayed put for a minute. I waited until the two unaffected guards got further down the road and kicked the crap out of the courier. Was able to finish off the remaining bodyguards as well.

Just a tip for you rogues out there.

have abdoned the q 100 times and searched for that stupid undead but I havn't found here where is she???

As stated above, drop the quest!! then reaccept the quest.  Run directly south and you'll see them walking!! did this lvl 40 shaman, just zerged the courier, put down EB totem and waited till outta combat!!

easiest way to do it is to hang around refuge point for a while, just hang out and take ur time. when u see the stormgarde gaurds riding out on their horses walk beside them or behind them. they'll be walking to meet the undead right at the cross in the road. when ur close, run in, pull the undead and retreat to the gaurds. they'll kill everything for you and you can just kill the courier. you'll get th drop and not loose any {major} health.

I did as two I think of the replies above said, and abandond and got it again, I sat outside the road to the south for a while, put WoW on the bar, went on the internet, went to Thottbot here, read most of the comments, heard that I had just gotten attacked by undead, went back to WoW really quickly, and Vanished because I'm a rogue, and there they were. I think the above replies are valid, but only if nobody else had spawned them a before, as it's likely somone else tried the quest and couldn't find the courier and they just kinda went on, and you can't spawn them again until they're killed or they reach Tarren Mill and unspawn or however you'd say it.

Also for any rogues out there, another way to kill them would be to sap a guard, wait for the others to get a good distance away, kill the guard, and keep doing that till there are no guards left, and then take the courier, or just sap the last one and kill the courier and do what you want. You can't sap the courier because then all the guards just stop moving until the courier moves again.

O and my first character's name is Paladinpal, not the one I did this with, if you're looking at the "by" part. ^_^

from now on when you read 30 comments explaining the same stratagy try to add on, dont keep repeating somthing that doesnt work

the mob doesnt spawn after accepting the qeust, you must patroll the road for hours  (blizzard likes it much better this way)

Easy as a priest, just Mind control them until only the courier remains. Everyone else, find a friend if you can't get it yourself =P

  So, I was just heading from Alterac Mountains, and I remember I had seen the Courier here before(Close to Tarren Mill) and I was thinking; 'Hmm, I'll check thottbot for their 'Pat Road', so I came here looking, and read the comments, and then I clicked up WoW, and I noticed, Hmm, my Hp is ticking, and Poff :P there she was :D

  And then I just AoEd them down with Consecration, Retri Aura and Blessing of Sanctuary :) Piece of Mommies Cake :D

did this on my lvl 31 affliction lock it was a piece of cake. i started from max distance and curse of exhaustioned them all then i did siphon life, then when to work on courier took a while but it got the job done

Okay.
So i'm reading a lot of comment or strategies.
And they all say south.


The first time i did this, i went south, to the south exit.
but you can just abandon the quest, restart it. and then go to the house that is on the farm.  you wait awhile, and then they will spawn right there.  also, if you have a friend along with you to do this quest, it's an okay grinding spot because when i'm a 38 mage and i did it with a 39 warrior and we got some mad XP because they kept respawning like 30 secs after we cleared it.

as a lvl 36 rogue with 2/2 dirty tricks, i was able to sap the courier and all of the bodyguards kept on walking

really easy, that is once i found her...

I did this as a level 35 or 36 druid. i pulled the courier with some random spell then went into cat form and pummeled the poor bastard and then i killed the rest of them since the bodyguards have like 600 hp or something. it's pretty easy but if you can't take them on since you think they hit too hard just run away.
If you think that's too hard i guess you could run away and spam moonfire on the courier.

As a lvl 37 warrior. I just ran up, hit Retaliation, and started hacking away. Couldn't have been easier.

In past days they was hard as a hell. as a 50+ dud i have been skinned alive even in bear form =)
Now they are just like image of enemy - no offence.

had some unknowing people mess it up by attacking first out of party so i couldnt loot.. waited a while went back to refuge after reading a post. followed the horseback riders out of town (south) and sure enough, there they were.  tried to pull towards the riders, didnt work.  too far away.  so i tried it on my own as a 33 frost mage.

blizzard in front of the group, let em walk into it

frost nova and back off if they get too close

when that wears off or if u wanna cut time, arcane nova til the courier is left, then finish off the courier

... easy as pie, the guards have very little hp

Really easy i soloed it as a 37 pally, all you have to do is kill the courier whcih is fast using a combo of seal of command, hammer of justice and consecration. Then u can just bubble and run away to get the loot when the guards walk away or just finhs the guards off xD hope this helps.

It was really simple....
I just rushed the party on the road and killed her, loot her and runed away like hell :-)

I did this quest as a rouge, sap the courier then the guards will simply walk away and leave the courier behind simple :D

oh... and you do head south BTW 
I stealthed beside the road and
waited like... 5mins :D

Anyone know the respawn time on these guys?

Easy to do as a feral druid... RAVAGE! CLAW! CLAW! FERICIOUS BITE! And then run away with dash, had to use a pot when i ran away, but it was easy :)
