He's just inside WC.. if you go through the instance you've gone too far.

ive killed him 2 times, each in a different spot, 1 spot is rite wen u walk in the cave, he is in a pretty big dent in the wall (stealthed), the other is wen u walk into the cave and r in the first small pond thing, go left and he mite also b there.
Hes at 45,33. As said before, there is a large shallow pond when you first enter, go west into a little passage and hes alone in there by a camp fire.
He takes quite awhile to respawn if he isn't there.
Just to clear things up. There are 3 spawn points. That's why his spawn time is so long. If you sit at only one of the spots, you'll have to wait for someone else to kill him in a different location, and he still might spawn at the third location. I've seen him in 2 places.
Soled as Lvl: 16 Bull Hunter along w/ The Serpantbloom quest.
Going straight through the intersection jumping off the 6' ledge, kill the raptor, and he is right there was my path to success. After an hour or more exploring I did wander around quite a bit hunting for the little drunkard (while gathering Serpantbloom) before coming here for direction. A solo journey into the portal, which is not a bright idea; I might add, was just enough to convince me to seek guidance. If you're smart and know how to play you race/class, its not bad solo. Esp if you have ranged attack. Just make sure you look around corners, watch your surroundings very carefully, ya don't wanna aggro 3 lvl 17 mobs, and don't go in the deep waters. Those lurkers got me everytime. Tho I do admit to sucking at underwater combat. It's a depth perception thing I guess =) You get this quest in Ratchet (Barrens) the guy is just to the right of the airport (flightmaster) and towards the water a wee bit. by a crane. Serpantbloom Quest is in Thunder Bluff under Spirit Rise
To find him go though the beginning of WC (the part before the instance) and go down the ledge then into the blueish color zone on you minimap. He's in the beginning of that zone with I believe some tables or something around him. As the others have said he is stealthed.
